You, again, appear to be advertising a company without disclosing this, which is against FTC and Advertising Standards Authority guidelines - almost certainly they'll be against your country's guidelines too. Please start disclosing ads or affiliate links - it is extremely important that the consumer knows when they are being advertised to, and if you do not disclose these ads I find it very likely someone will report you to the relevant advertising authorities if you do not begin doing so.

@@ICTman you sure? Seems like he’s just proving the source to the puzzle he found, just because he’s showcasing it off and providing the source to the thing he’s showcasing doesn’t necessarily means he’s being paid to showcase it, aka being sponsored, which he has to disclosed. Otherwise, I don’t see what’s wrong with this? Yes it’s technically free advertisement, but If this is a violation of the guidelines, then basically every single video game playthrough on UA-cam is considered a violation, which would be ridiculous.

Talking about the example you made, i don't think it really fits because a solved rubik's cube it's solved, from every perspective you look at it, and in order to solve it by removing the stickers you actually have to "destroy" the puzzle and reassemble it, wich i never implied should be allowed. Making another example, this puzzle's original solution make it seem like in order to solve a rubik's cube you could just solve 1 face and then say: "I solved the cube because by looking at it from the right perspective you can't tell if it's solved or not, so you can assume it's solved".

It can't be solved in two dimensions. The reason is - surface area. Take a look at the pieces: they are all trapezoids. Thus the areas are calculated via formula h*(a+b)/2, where a and b are length of those parallel lines, and h - height, distance between them (you can see it as two identical of these stacked in such way they form a rectangle with one side equal to h, and another - to a+b, thus 2S = h*(a+b). It also applies to trapezoids with no right angles, but now it's not really important, I'm just visualizing). Where were we? So there are 7 trapezoids with areas of 0.5, 1.5 and 2.5 little squares. Notice that any two areas summed leaves us with a whole number, and there are seven, thus whole area wouldn't be a whole number. (It would actually be 10.5 little squares). The point is - surface area of that H must be equal to 10.5. Because of that at least one "side" of the letter would be not whole, and, at the same time, rational. √2 (length of the slope on a little triangle) is irrational, that means that some squares would be shifted half of its side length, and it's kinda intuitive that it's not gonna work.

The slanted cuts of the pieces give you a clue of how to solve it. Look at which sides of each piece match the sides of other pieces.
      For example, take two pieces
      Piece 1. Piece 2
      B B
      |\ A |_\ C
      A |_| C D
      D
Side c of piece 1 matches side a of piece 2, which hints that they may be next to each other in the solution.
Then if you notice that the slanted sides are at the same angle, it hints that they all end up facing the same direction in the finished solution.
