Tbh no. Reptiles hardly move and not give a shit about anything if it has a full belly. Lions are much more unpredictable.
They can’t run fast at all, humans can easily out run them even if you just do a fast walk. Whereas you’re kinda screwed if the lion snaps.

I just got into this video, and the comment section really make me confuse? I mean as a citizen, Taman Safari is one of the best zoo/sanctuary in Indonesia, the animals lived in a large 'forest like' environment, where usually in another zoo they are caged :). Do you expect to let the animals just run free in the forest? That's ridiculous, dangerous and insane. And they must open the attraction to get money so they can feed the animals obviously🙄 Did you know how much meats a carnivore eats a day? Not to mention other herbivore fruits too. Some of local zoo even suffering from feeding these animals from the large cost with quarantine policy.😐😐
There shouldn't be zoo in the first place, is the thing you might want to consider. :)

If you said in the forest it can be dangerous for citizens too, I'm sure other country have all the wild animals in zoo aswell. I've seen zoo in other countries that the animals lived inside a glass room / caged with small space, at least in taman safari they are free to roam in a huge area.

Forgive me if, but it seems like this whole discussion stray away from what I'm trying to say. Ik lots of people have different opinions of course, and my whole point is that Taman Safari doing great and imo better than regular zoo by 'their facility'. And if you are against animals in the zoo that's okay too cause like I said everyone has a diff opinions. My logic is that if we look into the bigger picture actually sanctuary is a win-win solution, we can ensure the animals life, the wild animals would not harm people, they could roam free inside sanctuary, and they get food regularly and safe from their natural predators. But yeah by operating it needs a lot of money, which means that they must let people see and pays for the food.
you dont have to respond to all of these treehugger wannabe. they just act like they're a higher living being and clueless about this world, and let these animal roam in the free hunted alive.

i’m pretty sure it’s more of a sanctuary than a zoo, i’ve visited that place before and it’s literally a whole forest (you can only see the animals by car) tho there are petting areas but their schedule is tight only a few hours a day, so it won’t stress out the animals(?)
You have to know the terms and conditions of this management first tho, not only its management but also the animal handling studies. I've visited and talked to this zoo's keepers several times, and yeah this is more like a sanctuary or conservation. Moreover, you know that there is not just one for each animal, don't you?
