- Well, it's about time, isn't it? I finally uploaded the Dual Strike Theme. My gosh.
Got any favorite pairs? I like using Jake and Jess. Totally destroy the enemy with a whole army of ground vehicles. Tanks, anti-air, rockets. They got this.

@TheHerrDoctor You'd think, but Sami got a nerf to her infantry units, down from 30% to 20%. Even if Sami did have her 30%, that doesn't stop it being better with Hachi and Sensei, since you can summon mechs to all your allied cities, move them off the cities, and then summon MORE with Hachi. Sami's firepower can't compete with those sorts of numbers, you WILL hit the unit cap with Hachi and Sensei.

Andy + Hawke = Shaky Alliance (insane healing, also they're exact opposites)
Max + Grit = Big Country (opposites)
Sami + Eagle = Earth and Sky (17 infantry movement is insane)

Nell + Rachel = Windfall (because one shotting megatank isnt enough! we gotta launch nukes too!)

Olaf + Grit = Snow Patrol
Colin + Sasha = Trust Fund (get paid for dealing damage, deal more damage for getting paid)

Von Bolt + Sturm is instant Gameloss anyways unless you're using Sasha.
Being struck be a meteor and then stunned by a lightning bolt is not fun.
Especially when you're on the receiving end of a man who can cross forests like they're roads with his recons and has more amped units than Kanbei.
Sturm isn't in the DS games, fortunately... or unfortunately.
Earth and Sky was by far the most over-powered tag. So many quick victories...

I think there should have been more naval campaign maps to really flex the importance of the sea. But I still loved controlling the Sky’s with Eagle’s Fighter Jets and Lightning Strike Blitz

@@yusufrafiuddin7584 Maybe "instant victories" was the better wording. Find a hole; punch through; cap the HQ. You could be ravaged by the enemy Dual Strike and still win the game with a couple of air units and a T-Copter with an Infantry onboard.

Other idea, it's happening after the secret mission is won (when you defeat Sturm with Eagle's help, he'll ask Andy for one last duel, but that duel is criminally in Eagle's favor) :

Although "Rival's" can look like your theory plus theres that one time Lash played with some remote controllers about the Black Bombs and stuff. There a huge contradiction how Eagle wanted to defeat "Andy" because he "ruined" his "hometown" and Lash ruining Olaf's hometown.
Also Black Hole is a huge-ass cheater.
Late to the party but if that were the case then the days of ruin players must be the hard core players.

I think Jesse is better since Tidal wave cuts your fuel by half and the snowstorm burns your fuel when you move.

I like Eagle and Andy, as far as dual strikes go. Smash with airforce, fire off the tag power, smash even more, not even caring if you take damage back, switch to Andy, have your entire force suddenly back at full health (or near that), and clean up what remains.
exactly. just give andy defense boosts so he can keep as much of that HP as possible.

Hachi buy unit at 50% price at any city, then change CO to Kanbei, his superpower can smash any enemy at his range.

Whenever I think of Hawke and Lash's dual tag, Team Yell from Pokémon Sword/Shield comes to mind. Now I kinda want to draw Hawke and Lash in Team Yell outfits yelling “REBAL YELL!” at the top of their lungs.

I was always weirded out by how APCs had infinite fuel refills and ammo refills but never knew how to refill themselves..

Lightning strikes, the thunder comes crashing down, and that's when you see it. Up in the sky a golden flash of feathers and fire. The Phoenix cries out a song that inspires you to rally once more.
That image is what happens when you use your Tag CO power at the start of Eagle's turn rather than at the end.

I don't use it often, but when I REALLY want to stomp someone into the ground and not even give them a chance I go with Sensei/Hachi. Lead with Sensei to get your 9HP mechs and combine them. Once you swap, use the money you get from combining the mechs to spam high-power units at a half-off discount on your front-line cities. I'm talking MD Tanks for 8000, Neos for 11000, and MEGATANKS FOR 14000!!!!! And heck, you can even give piperunners a try as stationary defense turrets.

The only tag team i have ever used on dual strike against my friends is Jake + Rachel. Having Rachel out first to launch 3 missiles at your opponents then using Jake's extended movement range and plain firepower to destroy the units that didn't get obliterated by the missiles =D they were alsO the first 2 co's that I got to LV max first

rachel + nell is better because they have 3 stars and thus +15 day 2 day luck because balanced game design is balanced

My favorite is the same as yours apparently.
Jake and Jess work really well with my strategies. Starting with Jess getting a full resupply and ending with Jake for a solid wall in place for next turn felt so good.
POV: You used Sami first instead of Eagle in the tag power
I love to use Zak/Koal and Adder.
First advances two more spaces of the units,attacking the units in the way,change to Koal and DESTROY EVERYTHING!
Give Sami both of the base capture up badges--- you can basically capture anything
I like insta-capturing HQs with a 1 HP mech.
A fun combo to use? Colin and Sasha. They're siblings who can ruin a lot of days

Since the description asks, I'm quite fond of Drake and Olaf. Drake drains half their fuel, does 2 global damage, and then Olaf does 2 global damage, gets a firepower boost in the snow, and worsens the opponents fuel problems by making their movement cost twice as much fuel~
I feel like Dual Strike was made specifically for Eagle+Sami
Don't know who they are since I never got past the first level almost over a decade since I played this, but that's probably them now, with the state of the franchise
the only thing i can remeber from this game is whenthose booming sound effects drop, i'm about ready to chuck my gameboy/DS out the window.

His regular CO Power, Tailwind, grants +1 Movement and +20% Offense and Defense to his Air and Naval units, while his Super Power, Prevailing Wind, bumps that up to +2 Movement and +30% Offense/Defense, while ALSO refueling all of his Air and Naval Units)
I always felt like the tags were incomplete, like koal and sideslip dude has creepy crawly then what about the berserker bad luck good luck dudes? Why no tag? Also sami plus sensei is perfect because of the mech thing or hachi and colin with their cheapness?
M'kay bombers and fighters just ended their turns. Ok the T copter is into position... KAY Tag power! Now bombers and fighters clear the way to the Hq, and repel every single unit you can for score!.... now T copter drop the infantry.... Switch! Now.... jump at their headquarters WITH GLORY!!

kanbei : after usings colins super with all units buy a ton of units for kanbei to take over
hatchi : after colins super swap to hatchi to buy even more then what colin could
grimm : more power (here i could say sasha could be better is terms are met)
not saying sasha bad just there's better team-ups
also i know they share a 130% boost but compared to kanbei or hatchi its not worth it

@@randomguy-tg7ok it’s actually 70%. Rachel and Zak is 65%. It makes no freaking sense. They should’ve made Rachel and Zak’s tag 80%, Lash and Olaf’s 70%, and Eagle and Hawke’s 65%, if not 60%. I also don’t understand why Sasha and Grimm have a 105% tag power (since they barely interacted, if at all), and Jake and Hawke (who actually interacted a bit and had seemingly good relations, with Hawke saying “Jake… I wish I had met you… before” at the end of the game) got a basic, cookie-cutter, copy-pasted 100% tag. They HAD to give SASHA AND FREAKING GRIMM THE 105% TAG WHEN JAKE AND HAWKE MAKE MORE SENSE!!! AUGH!!! Sorry, still salty about that one.

You're right that I should credit artwork that I use; It's something that I never really thought about years ago. But in this case, the art was done by someone not Japanese and on Deviantart. (Unless I'm sorely mistaken.)

Ugh… ok so say somebody saved another someone’s life, and that other somebody wish they had met the first somebody before, implying positive relations, and together they only get a 100% tag. Now take two characters that BARELY interacted if at all… and they have a 105% tag.
