Formed in Florida, alternative rock band Matchbox Twenty consists of Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette, and Kyle Cook. The group signed with Atlantic Records in 1995, creating four studio albums including 12x platinum ’Yourself or Someone Like You’ and 4x platinum ’Mad Season’. The band’s debut album spawned the hit singles "Push," "3AM,” "Real World," "Long Day,” and "Back 2 Good” and continued to spit out hits such as "Bent," "Unwell," "If You're Gone," "Bright Lights" and "Disease."
In addition to more than 30 million records sold worldwide, Matchbox Twenty headlined six different tours and has earned many honors, including five Grammy nominations, four American Music Award nods, the 2004 People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Musical Group”, and they were named “Best New Band” in the 1997 Rolling Stone Readers Poll.

I purchased our 'meet & greet' tickets in 2020 as a gift for my 'monumental' birthday...but instead we'll be celebrating a 'milestone' birthday for my son and my very belated birthday. NO ONE throws a party like Brian, Kyle, Paul, and Rob - and WE ARE READY! 🎉

What I like about this group is they are close and they are not afraid to talk about themselves and issues they have experienced in their life. Their music is not the same tune all the time it is refreshing. I am a queen fan always will be and queen worked together well and their music wasn't all the same. The guys in maxboy are talented players and song writers. This is a 64 year old woman's opinion!

They were my first concert in 1997. I got to meet the band. I’ll never forget that night. I was 16. It inspired me to play music too! It was right as push was hitting the radio hard. I got to see them at Redwood high school auditorium. Probably less than 300 people at that show. Amazing. They sounded great then and still do! Now I get to see them this month in Fresno!
