Mike does a very professional job. He did my 2020 C8 Sebring Orange Corvette. I absolutely love it!!! This is by far my best Mod so far. I have had zero (heat) issues for about 6 months. I also drive mine a lot in sunny south central FL…. This looks SOOOO much better than the plain Paragon Clear engine cover in my opinion.
WARNING - For those that have or may purchase one of these. #1 - It does look great #2 - DO NOT leave it on; only use it for a car show etc. and then take it off. I left mine on and the problem is two-fold. First, the two main panels will slowly rub at each other due to the vehicle vibration resulting in a bunch of worn spots down the entire line that looks unsightly. Secondly, the paint on mine (White) started to discolor due to the engine heat. As soon as I noticed this I ended up taking it off and placed the OEM cover back on. I now have only the smaller panel hanging on the garage wall as a decoration. The larger panel I threw out due to the discoloration and worn paint spots. It lasted about 1.5 years.
It's not very different from the factory cover on the convertible engine necessary to protect the convertible top from engine heat other than it has a clear view port area in the center. I would expect a no to minimal difference.

THAT'S SO IMPRESSIVE! When the C8 vert first came out, I was so disappointed GM did not design it with a "see through" window like the coupe version.

Great vid! What did you use to modify the intake cover? It looks like you cut some pieces away and I was wondering how you did this?
Does it at all impede checking or adding engine oil? Why not use the same rubber cover?

Yes to check oil remove 3 Allen screws
For radiator cap must remove rear cover only takes a min
