It works! Not using background music while Laura plants is just fine. The music is pretty but also just the sounds of nature, etc. is good too. Love all the sedums. Your gardens look so welcoming & lovely.
I miss the music but don’t want to cause you guys more headache dealing with copyright issues so this works just fine.
When I read your comment I had to rewatch - I hadn’t even noticed there wasn’t music! It was very pleasant, although I like both options (music/no music).
Leaving out the music is okay with me. I appreciate that you all strive for the best presentation, but until Facebook gets a better system, some things are just not worth the extra work they cause. And we are here for the beauty of the gardens and learning that stuff you have to offer. The music isn’t why I show up. 💚💚💚
I wasn't fond of the Selection /kind /choice of Music that was playing anyway. (I usually love all music....with the exception of Opera.)
Where did she say about the music removal? I was watching a few but didn't notice her mentioning it
No background music is "music to my ears!" Being in the garden and hearing natural sounds brings peace and harmony to the entire space.
sometimes I had to mute the music because it wasn't a pleasant sound.
@@lilygirl2719 Right on, Lily..... I never liked the Selection /kind /choice of Music that was playing anyway. (I usually love all music....with the exception of Opera.)
Aaron had a good idea of natural background noise instead of music. It was quite calming. The sedum is beautiful.
Love the sound of the auger LoL i
You are right, love the sound of the birds trucks and rocks water😊everything Au,Naturale😊
I enjoyed the natural background sound so much more than music
It’s Gives me that sweet sound of accomplishment and the awakening of life
I love hearing yard sounds. Perfect
I don't normally comment but I love the no music... I can feel the planting... this was very calming and I felt like I was there planting along side Laura!
I wasn't fond of the Selection /kind /choice of Music that was playing anyway. (I usually love all music....with the exception of Opera.)
this video without music was perfect. actually like to hear the sounds of planting and the communication between you two. nice job.
The sounds of a quiet garden was very relaxing, love it! Garden asmr, lol, and I really don't enjoy asmr normally 😅
It seems like a lot of people enjoyed the lack of music based on the comments... but I really missed it. Love your channel!
Me too! I thought I was the only one
Noticed the lack of music as you mentioned in your update and I actually really prefer it. Real garden sounds, even traffic, is surprisingly peaceful.
I liked hearing just nature around you today 😊
I agree on the no music! I love that at the beginning of your videos, you don’t have a “cutesy” intro song or music, just get down to business! Thank you and Aaron for all your work, your place is spectacular!!
I so agree. The intros to so many You Tubers drive me nuts. And no music works for me also. I found simple pleasure in the sound when Laura dropped the paver in the soil. And the sound of the tires in the gravel. A simple change, but impactful and no more copyright headaches for Aaron.
I really like the echinacea mixed with the boogie wooggie sedum. It looks really beautiful together 🙌💛💚💛
Yes, I noticed that too and loved it.
@@addykins100 I think it is my favorite sedum planting she did today! 😀
Loving the no background music!!! The natural noises are music to my years.... Love it!!!
9:28 I wish I could be there to see your gardens in person too! Your gardens are gorgeous 😍In the meantime I am just trying to turn my own garden into something beautiful 💚
I gotta say that my week just isn’t the same without a good ol Laura “Uhhhhhh” - the noise you make when you are pleased with the outcome of a project or delight in the beauty of a flower, plant, etc.! 🙌🏼😆💗 It’s just the best 🙂
Loving the natural sound rather than music ☘️
Good morning Laura and Aaron. The gardens are really coming together beautifully. I agree with others that you don’t need the music. It’s lovely to just relax and watch as if I were there with you both. Thank you for letting us come along on this magical journey of yours. The inspiration you offer is invaluable. Have a fantastic week.
Ditto! No Music, it wasn't a very relaxing kind of music.
Good morning Laura and everyone!! Have a wonderful week
I LOVE this format with no music! It keeps my attention more! 💕💕
Love the “outdoor sounds” while Laura works. Do not miss the music.
I actually really enjoyed the no background music while Laura's planting! "No fighting" LOL you two are too funny 🤣
I think she actually said, “No fertilizer today.” ...unless I missed a different part!
@@setaparthealth3851 I was referring to their weekly recap video where they addressed this no music approach, and Laura said "No fighting" to Aaron 😄
Oh I just saw that now!! Gotcha! Ahhh that’s hilarious 😂
Didn't even miss the music, as I hang on to every word Laura speaks! Love the Sedum, they are like the perfect child with the ability just to perform with Brilliance.
This video was uploaded less than an hour ago but it already got 7k views.... That's what it means to be super amazing
I love it!! No music is wonderful since I usually have to mute it when music does come on. I have a neurological condition and repeated noises bother me so therefore the mute button. The sounds of nature and gardening are too gorgeous to miss anyways. Thank you for all you do your gardens are beautiful!
Very pretty, and not missing the music! Just bird sounds and natural noise is great. I saw the IG post showing the table in the Hartley. So nice. 👍
Wow..no background music. Natural sounds.
I've throughly enjoyed watching Laura show us everything and watching the butterflies in all of these videos lately, bring me so much peace! When I see butterflies, it reminds me of my grandmother!! I just love them so much!! Thank you Laura, Aaron and kiddos for sharing your love of gardening with the world!! Your touching so many lives in a positive and productive way! I love to learn something new everyday and your channel helps me do that!! If I need to know something, I ref Garden Answer always!! Love you guys so much!!
I just wanted to chime in, (no pun intended!!), with the no music format and tell you how much I love the quietness of the video!!! I am the same way when working in my garden, I don't have on headphones or listen to anything but the sounds of birds and buzzing bees and even the neighbors chickens!! I hope you find it easier and consider continuing on this way!! A cloudy, quiet day in a beautiful garden!!! What's not to love?!!! Thank you!!!
Great video. Love just the sounds of planting!! No need for extra music.
Love the sweet sound of the Auger... ahhh accomplishment ✨🤍
Good morning. I love waking up to Garden Answer videos!!!
Got to say, though I love your background music, it’s just as enjoyable to me to listen to the “natural” sounds surrounding you as you plant. Just sweet sounds of life. Love your channel. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, I liked the music too but can live with the real world sounds.
I didn't even notice the lack of music. But just a suggestion, record Laura playing some public domain tunes on her beautiful piano.
There is something soothing and tangible hearing everything in the video from planting, dirt digging to the background noise. Because in real life there is no upbeat background music while planting and chores and all, unless one wears an earphone with music.
I love this format once or twice in a while.
Great video as always and I enjoyed the new format without music much more. I always turned the volume down when the music would start. This is real. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Such a smart idea putting that stone there!
Morning all. I did notice the absence of music, but it's ok. Everything was natural, as it would be. I enjoyed. Thank you. Enjoy your day. xo
If you watch this weekend’s recap video in their highlights channel they explain why they are not using music.
@@liliromero4910 Yes, I did. That's why I said that. So, they would know I thought it was ok. Not that my opinion mattered... xo
Leaving the music out works just fine!! Loving how this large space is filling in 💜
That auger is amazing! It sure makes planting so much easier.
I loved hearing natural sounds while you were planting. It was easier to imagine being there with you getting those beautiful plants in the ground.
Laura your garden is looking fabulous and I can hardly wait to see it when the plants fill the space. What a treat to have the privilege to see your garden right from the beginning and then watching the progress take place.
I can’t get enough of those grass pathways, they are just perfect 😍😍😍
I agree! I think she was right when she said it was a cooling affect. the gardens are large, and that helps break them up so much better than mulch.
Well Done....Aaron! What a lot of work. The Grass is lovely.
Love the new format ,no music . It is lovely to hear just normal sounds, feel as if we are with Laura while she is planting and feel as if we can help her plant.
Boogie Woogie! Now that’s a fun name for a plant haha 😆
You inspired me to plant Autumn Joy sedum last year, and I have absolutely LOVED them all this year. They are so big and lush looking, and now they are starting to turn pink and are even prettier!
it's a very reliable plant. if you cut some off the tops by the end of June (4th of July at the latest) you'll have 2 more stems come off that stem (where there is a node) you don't have to be precise on where to cut. no more than 1/3 of the plant. when they get to big, they can get floppy. then you won't have a middle of the plant looking stupid.
Everything is coming along beautifully. Your joy is heartwarming.
LOVE to have no music, just the sounds that actually occur. So soothing and relaxing
The “drift” method is definitely the best and prettiest, especially for a big garden. Blocks look less natural and cottage looks a bit too wild for such a big space 😁. It’s all coming together beautifully.
Really miss your longer videos. Seems things are just so short anymore. Look forward to seeing your videos each day and am excited when the video is at least 30 minutes. You provide so much helpful information and content it makes my day. Thank you and God bless you!💚
No music! I don't mind!! I live the sound nature brings the garden. Not to mention I love hearing u and Aron chit chat!! I cant wait for the HARTLEY VIDEO'S!!! Im like a kid a Christmas waiting for her sibling to open their present. So I can play with it lol. Laura if I was ur neighbor, I would either be standing in my house watching 👀 u plant all day. Or trying to figure out a way to come and play with you. Lol Tha k u again for all ur videos and opening your doors to us.
Sedums are such a good choice… no fuss, no muss! Loved the video even without music! ❤️🌸❤️🌸❤️
I for one am glad that Facebook was a jerk about music. I like the natural sound. 👍🏻
I love the video without the music! Thank you! So refreshing to hear just the sounds of nature and of the normal sounds while working in a garden. 1000% improvement!!
Love the addition of the stepping stone.
The sedums look great in all their spots and with their contrasting colors and textures. Bonus is their ease of care. Isn’t it nice to have a cloudy day. The overcast give a nice light for filming and enhances the colors without washing out the picture. Plus it feels much more comfortable. 💚💚💚
I loved the style of this video. Natural sounds, you two talking, no fast forwarding your process. It was lovely and relaxing. And I love sedums too. I live in zone 3 and I have a lot of varieties that do very well in our harsh and cold climate.
super nice sedums and i like the style of the video! i heard birds and a dog, even an airplane! relaxed me tremendously and reminded me to listen to nature often 🥰
Yes I love the no background music…makes me feel as though I’m on your beautiful property with you! Love it
I also liked video with no music 👍🙂 very calming to just hear natural sounds. Good call Aaron!
Back to nature. Love it!💚
I love the background sounds instead of the music while you were planting this pretty sedum! On IG I saw the beautiful table…👏🏻🌸😍
Without background music, this feels like an ASMR. I knew you talked about it in your highlights. Will videos not have music moving forward?
Good morning! The South garden is looking so pretty. The grass looks so green and lush.
My first thought was "you forgot to add music!" My second thought was "I like this... Kind of Zen and relaxing to watch". It's like when a speaker whispers and it immediately catches your attention and you lean in.
Nice choices today (as always) and great info. Thanks Laura!
I love it ❤️, just like that, with the natural noises 😊👍 thank you for yet another awesome video 😊☀️
What a beautiful video today. Just love sedum such a beautiful plant. And all the ones you planted today were just beautiful . I love the ground cover ones. As l am looking for something like that in my borders. So thank you for that Laura . Know what plant l am going to get now. Gardens are really coming on now with so many beautiful plants planted. Good idea with the bit of stone near your hose pipe.
The south garden is like a big, beautiful puzzle and Laura fills in the pieces like a master!
Not sure if this is your first video minus the music as Laura is planting but I really like it Oh naturale. Just like being home. With all of nature’s sounds.
Loving the sedums! It's amazing how many varieties are available now.
I love, love, love the natural sounds❤️
Love the selections but also the rock addition.. adds a little something special 😉👍🏽
It is all filling in so beautifully! It seems a cloudy day makes everything look so lovely in the subdued light.
Love these sedums, added some to my space this year because if you. I’m loving the sounds of the garden, we don’t need music every time. Well done!
The boogie woogie with those coneflower is gorgeous
Inspirational. I can’t believe how far you back garden has come in just two (?) years. It’s soooo pretty.
I had to look back- no its only been ONE year that they've really been planting! Well, by now maybe 1.5, I think.
I like that you have the sound of "life" in the background. Planes, you talking and the thud of the slate on the ground. The sound of the gravel under the tires etc. That is what we all hear in our own spaces. Although someone playing the piano while I garden sounds nice too, but not realistic lol. Great job and the dark sedum is my favorite!
Would love for you to do a series on Top 10: perennials, grasses, drought tolerant plants, red/purple shrubs, chartreuse shrubs, small trees, small evergreens, etc. Thanks for your informative videos.
That vista shot at the 4:36 mark of the new fountain backed by the hydrangea bushes and then the porch with the American flag behind it is STUNNING. Can't wait to see it with that bed around the fountain planted up!
I agree...no background music is okay with me. Love all the plantings, but Laura, I'm one week out from knee replacement surgery and I watch you getting down of your knee. Treasure them and take care of them ( and watch your back too) The years of hard work will creep up you and your body!
Love hearing the actual sounds of you working! I can ‘feel’ the soil in my hands, too.🙂I admit, I’ve been muting the music. Time-lapse is okay, but it’s wonderful to be right there with you, every step of the way!❤️
I mute it too. I really dislike their music choices.
@@GardenKath Ditto. > Horrible Music choices and I usually love all music, except Opera. Haha.
Me too.......Had to Mute that music.
I liked that you showed we can divide sedum. Large size plants don't fit in the front of a lot of my beds but are often all that's available so I always divide the sedum & ice plants I put there.
I love the no music "real time" hearing the birds and the rustle of the plants! And water running
When Laura said I wish you all could be here to see, my daughter yelled me too! She’s two. We love Laura! Hopefully someday we’ll get to have a garden in a house of our own. Forever renting and taking care of indoor house plants until then.
Oh, I actually loved hearing the birds chirping, dogs barking, augers augering, Aaron commenting! I didn’t really miss the music at all. The video was peaceful and real. I have enjoyed the music in past vids, so maybe this was a fun change of pace. You all do an awesome job because, bottom line, you take us along on your gardening journey and we learn all kinds of new things along the way! Love you guys❣️❣️
I used to think watching episodes of Barefoot Contessa was the most relaxing viewing experience, but now I’d say it’s watching your channel. 💚
Good morning, Laura ☕️ Sedums are one of my favorite varieties in the garden. I love when you talk and drive so we can see the gardens as you go by. It is all coming together so nicely 😍👏🏻👏🏻. Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈
I just introduced my garden to sedums this weekend I actually got a cooking off my neighbor and I simply popped it into my ground and it’s doing amazing I never knew it was that easy to grow such a beautiful plant
@@alw5101 yay for you! 👏🏻👏🏻
Wow those Back in Blacks are unbelievable! I am so glad we got to hear the little squeaky noises that sedum makes when you move it around, they are a sensory delight!
I'm loving it with no background music, it's like gardening asmr. No need go deal with all the copyright issues, this us great! ❤
Love both of those new bright green sedums!!!
💕👍👍👍
Love hearing all the sounds in the garden.
Laura, although everything looks beautiful, I think I would space everything further apart. Knowing how the perennials clump up in my garden, I expect your plants to do the same. It might save you some work in the future if things are getting crowded. Just a thought. I really love your garden and your videos!
Great video! Love without music it's calming and relaxing just watching you gardening! Do more of those!😊💗
Great filming Aaron! it looks and sounds so nice. It makes me feel like I'm there next to Laura trying to help and support her while she works hard to make this a beautiful space for your family! Just wow, with or without music. Love Love Love
Loved when Laura was washing off the stone she put in by the hose reel. My brain automatically said, "Gotta water it in!" :-)
The sedums are beautiful and looking great in your south garden. I can't wait to see your Heartly. Have a awesome rest of your day Ms Laura and family.
I can't be the only one to invision the sedum in my flower beds. Can't wait to start the planting. Thanks Laura!.
I’m wild about Sedum. It’s become my favorite plant. I have seven varieties, they all look different and flourish in the Texas heat.
I loved not hearing music this time and just hearing nature and listening to you work. 🥰 We're having overcast ☁️ day today also. So, I'm listening to you and going to trim our fluffy boxwoods today. It's also cooler!! Yay!!!
Extremely gorgeous Sedums especially the burgundy /purple ones
I just planted some new sedum too because it’s the perennial that looks the BEST in my garden right now! Just after I planted, my puppies laid on one of them and broke it all to pieces… but I just pushed each stem into some potting soil and soon enough I’ll have a new plant! I LOVE this about sedum! 🤗
The sedum added is so beautiful 🤩
