    Jasons backup vocals/vocals MetallicA an entire extra dimension that is indeed extinct with Rob

      Yeah..for sure. Every time I know a part is coming up where Rob should be singing, I listen and then always think what is he doing? He goes to the mic but almost nothing comes out of his mouth! 😬

      All of their testosterone levels aren't as high as they were when they were 36 either. Testosterone = aggression

    James and Jason were such beasts on stage at that time! Unbelievable performance. Metallica forever!

    this is a good song has its own cool strong energy at almost nine minutes and It'll pick up those load and reload albums were actually very cool records one leads into the other since they were recorded around the same time they just released them separately

    Yes for the most part Ive always loved LIVE performances more,sometimes the sound quality isn't the best but this was pretty good .Studio versions are ok but usually they practice it so much you don't get the raw sound that can be so much better .Great reaction .Keep Metallica reactions coming on a regular basis for sure .

    • @nikkireviews
      @nikkireviews  4 дні тому +1

      Yeah when the sound quality is bad I usually end up turning it off asap haha. I'm glad you like the Metallica reactions! 😊

    Wow. A Woodstock 99 performance? Nice! If I had known you were gonna do one of these, I would have suggested "Terrible Lie" by Nine Inch Nails. I loved their performance of that song at Woodstock 99. That performance was incredible.

    I'm gonna request Dorothy- What's Coming To Me (unplugged version) I know a version it's in the poll but unplugged is better and it doesn't stand a chance against a couple of them. I know if the people voting would check it out they would vote for it though.

    • @nikkireviews
      @nikkireviews  4 дні тому +1

      Ooh unplugged. I like the sound of that! I will have to record/post it before the end of the year. I know a few people have request Dorothy now so I definitely wanna check em out. Thank you!

    I'm a huge Metallica fan. Seen them live 10 times, and going again in the summer of 2025. Their live performances are amazing, and the energy at a show cannot be described with words.

    It was complete ɓul·lshīťe how they treated Jason Newsted like the redheaded step child from day one, but then, to immediately turn around and publicly offer Robert Trujillo a million dollar sign on bonus.. That's just Fubar! Nothing against Trujillo, obviously.. I just love his work with Suīcīɗal Teɲɗencīes wayyy more! You should seriously check out their Art of Rebellion album! I could suggest a few you'd probably dig for sure.. 🤘🏻😆🤘🏻

      I think they went back on the road way too soon after cliff died. It took them 15 years to get the help they needed to finish the mourning process. James had no idea how to handle cliffs death because he wasn’t even allowed to mourn his own mom. It took losing Jason, almost losing his family, almost losing his band for him to grow up. They all had to grow up and face the hard shit.

    Load and reload get a lot of crap but they are excellent albums. If it would've been a different band people would've been fine with them.

    • @sumonjamal1653

      They weren't metal records... and w/ the name Metallica... Playing country and southern rock is crock...
      I mean, Zakk Wylde did it w/ Pride and Glory, solo records... not w/ Ozzy or Black Label Society.

      @MattSwain1 4 дні тому

      I think Load is excellent, but reload definitely felt like it was the odds and ends that were left over, some good songs but some that are a bit meh, so it’s not an album I go back to

      @@sumonjamal1653 So would you really prefer Metallica to just take a hiatus in 1993, create a hard rock side project, and the next time you'd hear about Metallica would be around 2003 with St. Anger? I think that way it would be worse than for you to just accept their music eclecticism.

    • @sumonjamal1653
      @sumonjamal1653 4 дні тому

      @@SokolRock FYI - Metallica did 'take a hiatus in 1994 - '95... after touring 3 years for the 'black' album.
      It took them 5 years between albums to come up w/ 'Load/ Reload"... and another 6 years to come up w/ 'St. Anger' (their worst album)
      Nobody told Metallica that their material was no good for years...
      Can't change the past... 'if' doesn't exist.
      At the time, the rule was, 'no solo projects outside of Metallica' (Jason Newsted tried to release music in 1995 and was chewed out) When Jason wanted to release his Echobrain album in 2000, it was James Hetfield who said, "It ain't happening."
      Lars and Kirk wanted to experiment musically and the rule dictated it be a Metallica record - That was a mistake.
      Jason said that the band scattered their time working on the 'Load' albums and they should have spent some more time working on those songs to make sure they were up to standard... They came out somewhat 'half-baked'... and James was not big on those albums (It was Lars and Kirk mainly on those records)
      For me, I'd much rather have had a record like 'Death magnetic come out in 1998/'99 than what Metallica ultimately did... and tour w/ bands like Machine Head and Fear Factory... than Kid Rock and Candlebox.

    Yeah, I honestly love everything they did up to, including their RE‐LOAD album! But after their whole "SAINT A.A.NGER" and "SOME KIND OF LIQUOR!!" Album/Documentary fíasco à deux, I just sorta checked myself outta the "STAN" fan category... 😆
