Industrial Button Holer

Hi Kenlyn, I'm hoping you receive this message... I'm hoping to get some detailed tips on the installation and initial setup of what appears to be the same button holder we have ordered for my wife's brand new Juki DDL-8700. I have been struggling to find useful guidance online, as there are very few videos on the installation, certainly none that I can find that are easily understood, mostly due to language barriers on the few I have found. Unfortunately the company we purchased the buttonholer from has not been very helpful thus far. I really enjoyed watching this demo of it use, but certainly would appreciate any guidance you might care to share! Respectfully!👋

What about feed dog? Does it require a special one?

This attachment covers the feed dogs and moves the fabric. It would work with a straight stitch machine.

Hi- is your industrial machine high shank or low shank? I just bought one of these buttonholers and it just isn’t fitting onto my high shank machine correctly. Even with the pressure foot down I have 1/4” clearance between the attachment and the plate, which obviously won’t work to sew my buttonholes
