Someone who doesn't trash and mock the snowball. How refreshing. In Canada here and it was my favorite back in the 80s in Edmonton in my late teens. I buy a bottle of it every couple of years and I've learned to serve it up but not tell anyone what is in it. I do fresh lime juice, mild fresh good quality lemonade and some vodka to kick it up. I made it one night for some friends late on a summer night with grenadine in the very bottom and named it A Bloody Piss. Cheers!
I remember my granny allowing us to have sops of this at Xmas. And Babycham - remember that😂😂😂. In fact I still have a few surviving original 1970s snowball and Babysham glasses 😂😂. BTW i use fresh 🍋 or 🍈 juice and slices. Leftover advoocaat makes a great cheesecake just whisk 1/4 pint with mascarapone, cream, icing sugar, them fold on chopped crystallised ginger and nuts. For the base I use crushed ginger nut biscuits instead of digestives YUM

I think you can get it, maybe Bols Advocaat...because after I uploaded this, other Cocktail UA-camrs tried to find it. No luck with Warnicks, but many all over the US and Canada managed to grab Bols.
you may want to look around on a store that specializes in dutch products although that may up the prices quite a bit there's also a lighter version that's called "tokkelroom" only at 8% (16% proof) but it is very custardy and thick, and it is extremely common here in the netherlands, it is an advocaat based product, but i beleive it needs to exceed 14% vol to be called advocaat, still pretty good stuff and yes, the name "advocaat" means "advocate" -> representative/lawyer, they used to have some variant of this in their breaks because the custardy, thick consistency helped their throats deal with prolonged hours of oral presentation in the court room, so the "drink" is likely named after them and existed for quite a while in various configurations without really having a name i've heard black metal vocalists speak about having yoghurt so their throats don't go sore too, they really open up some throaty registers that don't quite work well when it's dry and sore the added alcohol makes sense when you know how much alcoholism is a thing with lawyers, they often have to deal with knowledge of seriously horrible things, and keep their cool when speaking, a bit to take the edge off helps in remaining professional for many when the topic is partcularly grim.

Ha, nah Lemonade to us is a different thing. It’s fizzy, clear lemon. Like a subtle hint of lemonade. Think you may say Schweppes. Where as Schweppes to us...although they are the biggest brand of lemonade...most UK would automatically think Tonic Water. We don’t say lemon lime soda, we simply say sprite (or 7Up). BUT, for us they are very interchangeable. Your Lemonade is our Traditional Lemonade, or Victorian Lemonade...but again, ours is Fizzy.
