I initially wanted Hutchinson, and even watched his whole backstory thinking he was going to be our guy (called Hutch, you should check it out!). But I’m glad we took Walker bc he will be a beast next season. He does a lot that doesn’t show up in the box score, he’s one of the best run stoppers/tacklers in the league and our division has 3 stud RB’s. Plus he’s just a baby.
I really wanted Hutch and Tom was pretty accurate about how I felt on draft night, but I will have to admit it always seemed like Hutch wanted to be a Lion more than anything else. I almost would have felt bad taking him. Walker has great potential so I'm not mad about it (anymore).

I was at the jags Titans game this year in Nashville. There were a lot of jags fans talking shit. And I kept yelling at them "YEAH YOU WON TODAY BUT WE'LL STILL HAVE A HOME PLAYOFF GAME AND YOU'LL STILL BE THE FUCKIN JAGS!"
I regret those words more than most words I've said in my life.

As a Jags fan, this was an insane season that my liver couldn't handle, but also one of the best parts of this season was watching Oliver along the way. That whole AFC/NFC South saga made the ride even better. Thank you Tom.

Same here. I went to 2 of the games including the week 18 game. Amazing freaken season
The Jags had my Chiefs on the ropes in the fourth quarter, i was nervous as hell. Ya'll gotta solid squad and Dougy is my boy.
I thought Doug Pederson was a hack who lucked his way into coaching a Superbowl Team a la Barry Switzer, but he should get credit for turning the Jags around and having a pretty sweet second half of the season and one of the most memorable hilarious wins of the playoffs. Enjoy your season, Jag fans! Feel good about what your team did!
The Jags are ride-or-die on Trevor Lawrence and Pederson has a knack for getting a little extra out of his QB. It's actually a pretty good fit theoretically.
Doug Peterson once played quarterback and is a branch of the Andy Reid coaching tree. If anyone could be a QB whisperer to Trevor Lawrence and help him succeed after the dumpster fire that was Urban Meyer, it was Peterson.
It did feel that way a little while ago, but in the end, he DID have to deal with a declining Wentz then made one really unpopular decision that helped seal his fate. That Reich couldn't fix Wentz and Peterson COULD fix Lawrence helps assign some blame (mostly on Wentz I think, but still).

Jags had an amazing season. They went all the way to the Divisional Round. That's a great season.

Ummmmmmm, well, their division was trash and they beat the Chargers in the wild card. 9-8 isn't that great especially when 2 other 9-8 teams didn't make the playoffs. Just saying....but regardless, congrats....I guess.

They literally went from tracking to another #1 pick, to punching a ticket to the playoffs, and only BARELY losing against the Chiefs. Unless they have another massive collapse next season, this can only mean good things for them in the years to come

What’s different about this team compared to 2017 is the fact that the foundation is laid and we can start developing young talent and adding more depth. Like the man said in his AFC/NFC West finale, “I get to wake up and be excited about the future”. The future is bright in Jacksonville and we’re just getting started

As a baseball fan, this felt like the equivalent of the Mariners making the post season, and putting up a fight against Houston. Got a lot of good vibes off of that for Seattle, and got similar vibes to Jacksonville.

I'm just so proud of lil spotted kitty. My Bills season came to a predictable depressing end, but to see Trevor ball out and finally be the qb we all hoped he would be makes this whole season a win for me.

The fact we could have swept the chiefs and mahomes if a couple things went our way and we played just a tiny bit better is amazing to me as a Jags fan.

@Ryan It was. The offense didnt capitalize and settled for field goals. If we scored on our 3 scores, much closer game
@@ryanbateman3691 we were down 20 to nothing and scored just b4 halftime thats 20-7 at half. Now take the final score of 27-17 and add the points we left cause we screwed ourselves. We had a td called back cause of Robinson being downfield so thats took 4 points off the board cause we settled for a fg add those and that score goes to 27-21 now add the 2 missed fgs thats 6 more points that makes the score 27-27 with 4:30 left with the chiefs having the ball and our team playing crazy good in the 2nd half. That game woulda came doen to the end. Both games against the chiefs we lost cause of our mistakes (major mistakes) the chiefs dont make and it cost us. The 1st game coulda went either way if we made those plays and the 2nd game we woulda won if we hada made 2 plays we ditn (one the sure pik on henne and 2 the agnew fumble if it ditn happen we score a td cause we woulda been on the 5 and coulda just ran it) either way im both vry happy for wat we achieved this season but also a bit disappointed cause ik we shoulda beat the chiefs. But we'll b back an btr then this season.
As a Lions fan since the 1960's we said things like this too.

@@Drkfire_Yt that's one of the worst copium I have seen this season... You were down 20-0... Chiefs took their foot off the pedal after that you know. They could have killed the Jags more badly but didn't. Didn't even have to open up there playbook much.
And the 2nd game mahomes wasn't mahomes for 3 qtrs... that game could have been a way bigger blowout if mahomes hadn't gotten hurt.

As a Jags fan, I’ve been waiting for this and it did not disappoint! Reflected all my emotions this season perfectly, especially the Titans games, the Wild Card round halves, and of course the Urban Meyer loathing. (But please, the emphasis is on the uuuuuuuuuu in Duuuval, here, let me demonstrate… Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuvallll)

Perfect representation of this season for me as a Jaguars fan. October was atrocious. But once they started winning games in a row, it was so surreal and so enjoyable.
Would've loved to go all the way, but I'm happy where we are. Hopefully the core stays unchanged next season.

Listen. They barely beat a devastated hurt 3rd string qb Titans team. Everything that could go wrong for the Titans in the second half did go wrong. Now we are fixing those problems in the off season . No more Downing too. We will be back, healthy and ready

Although it hurt to lose to the Jaguars, seeing how I'm a Ravens fan, I can't help but feel happy for them. They went from having the first round pick two years in a row to the divisional round and nearly beating the Chiefs. If Jacksonville plays its cards right, they could contend again next year.
Also, as a Ravens fan, I'm pretty damn worried to face them again next year.
