*Share #1 key takeaway* from this video which you will take action on! ⬇️
I want to start posting on Linkedin, but at the same time, the professional side of it and the quality of the content I consume on the platform, make it scarry for me to provide valuable content.
put the specific keywords from job posting to my resume.
Great! Should be easy but very effective!
I totally understand that feeling - I feel like that sometimes too. "What do I have to say that will be valuable to people"? I'd focus on creating content around areas you feel you are more experienced than others and also your own experiences and challenges. Authenticity and personal stories (I don't mean about personal life but personal stories in the career realm) have been quite popular on the platform.
I loveeee your energy. This is the first video like this I've watched yet. I was having a early 20s life crisis because I study accounting and realised I don't wanna do this anymore. I have discovered marketing as a career path for me and I'm very hopeful!!!
Start building up your personal brand; it's something I wish I had started years ago that I'm just starting now :)
I hope that you are aware of how much you contribute towards people's clarity and future success! Really appreciate these videos - thank you.
This is such a useful video! Thanks so much for making this. I have a much clearer sense of direction now.
Thank you Elif!🤍
You started with exactly what I feel.
I loved your video! Thank you so much for all the tips. I wish i knew this sooner.
Thanks Juan, appreciate your comment!
Just subscribed! I recently came across a huge contemplation about my career and where I want to end up, I tried watching so many videos that didn't connect with me. Until I saw urs! This video honestly encouraged and relaxed me so much overall! I wrote multiple notes down watching this so I can improve on areas I'm not confident in and things to work on! I just want to say ur amazing and keep up the amazing content!! Subscribed and will definitely come back to watch more videos
Thank you so much for sharing this with me! Means a lot. ❤️ so glad it helped you and it’ll be great to see you around!
Thank you, Elif! This will help people getting out of the rut.
You're welcome! Glad you think that way! I really try to share the info that I wish I had earlier on.
You’re the best!
Great video!! Really insightful. Thank you for your life changing advices 💖.
You are so welcome! Glad it was helpful!
Hi.i hope I'm not a little too late to say.this video is helpful and you have simplified alot of things regarding the marketing world .I am so excited taking the marketing path, thanks to your UA-cam page ❤#greatful
Our Practical education is after graduation. Before Graduation, We live in a fantasy world thinking that the employer is waiting for us and we are going to shake the world. All our dreams fade when we experience that Life is not a bed of roses which was shown to us. In Fact, The Real Party begins after graduation.
Agreed - that's why I try to focus on bridging the gap between education and professional life. I hope its helpful for many.
I kinda laugh after reading this its like me who wrote this.
Hello Elif! Thanks for the video, it definitely put me back on the right track. I'm currently in the self learning phase but I loose my motivation sometimes. But your video reminded me that I'm doing a right thing.
Could you please make a video about relevant PhD/research topics to work on ? I'm struggling to find some good esearch questions in the field of digital marketing.
hi elif! this comforted me a lot. I am an advertising major and recently decided to graduate early because I don't have many credits left. mentally, I am unprepared for this choice. I feel very unprepared without a network or plan. I needed to hear all of these things thank you
I'm very glad it helped lift some pressure off ❤️
I think you might find some other videos on the channel to help you out with your planning process. All the best!
I am a 2nd year marketing student and have so much anxiety during this pandemic as it has got me thinking about my life and career . I don’t know why but I just feel like I’m not learning enough or effectively and it stresses me cause I know I’m trying very hard . I just wanted to know how important is it to know all the content you have learned in Uni ?
Thank you so much for this video. It’s obvious how much thought you put into your content. I have a couple of month until I graduate my Digital Marketing MSc but going to start putting some of this advice into action.
You are so welcome! Thanks for your comment! ❤️
Hi Elif, Thank you for posting videos on these topics. They are very helpful. Could you please post a video about inbound marketing and the skills needed to succeed in an inbound marketing career since that is your specialisation. Thanks in advance. Take care.
Great suggestion! Thanks for sharing Renita.
Nice 👍 Video
Hi Elif! Thanks for the video. I really like your tips ☺️ Could you recommend some good digital marketing podcasts?
Hi! I'm thinking maybe I should do a video about this but here are a few I'd suggest: Science of Social Media, Marketing School, State of Demand Gen
Working on a Side Hustle/Passion Project & building an online presence
Go for it! 🔥
Do you have videos about entering the digital marketing industry as a former Sales Professional? Entering PPC, Social Media, SEO?
Couldn’t thank you enough for providing us with such beautiful insights in a jiffy😄. Just a doubt: After graduating from a B-school I took up an internship instead of job, but I left it after two months and joined another to explore more . Will this add as a Red Flag in my Resume? TIA! :)
It happens all the time - it's okay if you have a reason/story 👍🏼
Thanks a lot ❤️
Is it worth it to graduate in marketing management course?
Do you have ideas of job searching for recent graduates where they no longer can be an intern because the requirement only allows currently enrolled students? Volunteer or some kind of ideas?
Check out this video I have that talks about an alternative: ua-cam.com/video/SJC0MEYVjno/v-deo.html
@ thank you very much I’m quite confused about life and watching your videos helped ❤️
I am in my final year of college. But because of lockdown my graduation has been postponed. I don't know if my class is gonna start this year or not. But I'm trying to complete some online courses. Have completed a couple of them, looking for jobs. But sadly I. Can't get any. Sometimes I feel like I can't get out of it. I am trying really hard not to get disheartened.
Don't feel disheartened please. Keep trying, focus on being different and shine light on the value you will bring to the table. Most of us knock on hundreds of doors before one opens. 🌟
Samiha, start doing freelancing. bid on projects daily on Upwork. u will get projects soon
@ thankyou !! I will keep that in mind.
@@zainulabaidin9343 Yeah I also thought that but I realized what if I don't get work as I don't have previous experiences.
@@zainulabaidin9343 how to do that if I'm a fresh graduate?
Is having a business a side project?
Damn, this was dishearthening, I'm studying econ+marketing as a side project, thought about getting into it sometimes in the future, but seeing all of this, I'll probably just stick with my boring law job :D Networking, doing side hustles, portfolio and expecting low to none pay jobs after graduation, that's crazy... I graduated, got a job and didn't have to do all this free work just to earn money for my bills...wondering if marketing field is so crazy oversaturated or this video is just overexaggerating O_o
Most of these are helpful to differentiate you in any profession and not just marketing. But yes, marketing is competetive.
Having said that, none of these are mandatory but this is what I would do because I know the difference these actions can make and how much it helps to move you faster. Hope that makes sense and relieves the stress! :)
@ Thank you for the answer, I can see the difference between my original field in law and marketing even here in Czech republic..It's easy to get a job in law, since there's a requirement of going through 5 years of law school for most of positions, but marketing positions usually don't require any degree, but 100% of them requrie 1-3 years of experience in exact position...so it's in a way even worse, studying is way more fun than doing free work for someone else :D
Would u say u learn more through job or through college?
Job
