One of my friends when she was newly married and her husband took a teaching job on family base residence in Germany and then they came back to Alberta after one or two years can’t remember which it was. Then they had a family and they started thinking of going back cause they were so happy in Germany and the kids were old enough to adjust to schooling as it would be English base camp schooling. They decided not to as they both said going back like that probably wouldn’t be the same as they were much younger and carefree. I could see them when he retired going and doing it but unfortunately he developed terminal cancer and passed away just before retirement. Now this was a long winded comment lol just to comment on going back and expecting it to be the same doesn’t always happen. Take care Pat and Trevor.
If I had to pick a favourite time away I would have chosen Devon and Cornwall, I would have liked to have gone back in winter to watch the sea at some of the coves we stayed at but never did. I
Hi Trevor and pat, we are new to your channel, we would just like to say, we are enjoying your daily stream, it’s nice to see people just being there selves, carry on please just being you two, love rose
👋🏻👋🏻. My dad’s hearing aids were in his pants pockets more than in his ears 😄🤣😄. Pat is sounding a lot better today hopefully the both of you will be all better for when Santa arrives 👍👍👍. Stay safe and well. Judy🇨🇦🇨🇦
Bless you! I’m so pleased you have some sound advice,(pardon the pun!) Tracey and Pat have your best interests at heart, don’t be too grumpy with them. I had NHS, ones, unfortunately at a time when I was caring for my mum and being run ragged looking after normal family matters at school. I should have gone back to have them adjusted, but time passed and I didn’t! Naughty I know! Take care of yourselves. xx
Oh, ok. Unfortunately our useless surgery does not participate in the scheme, so you have to have a doctors referal to have a nhs appointment at our local Specsavers.
I think that accident shook your body up far more than you thought Trevor, at our age our bodies can't take the knocks like youngsters. Hopefully your doc will refer you to the ear, nose and throat clinic and they will fit you up with a suitable hearing aid. The damage in my right ear is 98%, so a hearing aid won't work for me. I have got used to it over the years, but I really don't like noise of any kind, like crowds. Its embarrasing when I can't hear people talking to me on my right side! See you tomorrow, bye!!
I won't hold my breath regarding our doctors. I bet I have to charge about like an idiot again like I did to get the tablets. Mick always makes me walk on his left for the same reason. It's hilarious, to think how we commanded all we saw together, and now Mick has cognitive and hearing problems, and where do you start with me.🤪
@trevorpat-lifeontherun hmm I didn't mean that. Once the 3 years has passed you will be landed with all of lawyers fees etc. And absolutely no compensation. I've been through this twice, belive me they will put you through the wringer before paying up. You will have nothing for what happened to you.
I do agree about the accident having an effect on you. Trauma is a strange thing. Enjoy the rest of your weekend❤️🫶
Yes, it looks like it Karen.

Was Pat in the accident too
Yes. She was in the passenger seat and got bruised from the seat belt.
My husband has nhs ones through Specsaver and you don’t have to go through doctor at all xx

@@trevorpat-lifeontherun Just all part of the ageing process Trevor!!!
I have a feeling that you only have 3 years to complete the claim. Don't let the insurance companies dilly dally
Three years! I should live that long. 🤔
