Reese has a great personality. She will continue to get better as time goes on. Reminds me of Dennis Rodman when his focus was only rebounding. Her whole game will improve once she gets that mid range shot down

But point of Reference to your comments:
This is not a surprise. Reese had a bigger natural fan following coming out of college than Clark. That is well known, and easily proven by looking at their NIL; Social Media; Google Searches; Award shows; Magazine Covers, etc., where Reese was killing Clark (particularly after they faced each other in the National Champions of 2023).
The "FAN FOLLOWING" that Clark enjoys today, is more a corporate induced one by the inordinate amount of publicity; expectations, and greatness attached to her before she played her first game. This created The Bronny James like Effect of curiosity seekers; Bandwagoners/Glory Hunters/Clout Chasers; Super Casuals, etc., we see today, cause ESPN, etc., told them to.This is not a natural audience. It was Marketing; PR; Propaganda driven.
This is why Reese gets so much love when out in the public (such as the NY standing ovations, and the roars from the crowd, awe/star struck fans we witnessed All Star weekend, such as this kid and their family) to the astonishment of these "New" fans.It's because people were always drawn to Angel Reese to begin with (as you noted, and some of the reasons why). It's the current subset of out of touch, bitter new fans (or bitter, insecure retreads from April 2023) who wants us to believe everything positive associated with the WNBA has to do with Caitlin Clark alone, and that's just not true. Again: If Clark, were that popular, it would been that way in college to begin with Where, Reese (and other high school and college women athletes) were killing her in in NIL, etc). Nothing changed with her coming out of college (no championships; same mundane looks, personality, etc.), except they decided to (finally) give Clark $$$, and over promoted her to the masses for their own purposes, agenda.
Note: Both Clark and Reese together, created phenomenal ratings in college, and helped spur interest in the WNBA/Women's basketball (College and Pro's) even before this season. They helped created a Halo Effect the following WNBA season. in 2023, and it was going to happen in 2024 (probably with or without Clark).So I'm not saying she hasn't created any interest. She has. It's just overblown. Reese was right, when she spoke about it not too long ago.
Note 2: Being the All Time NCAA leader wasn't it either. We've seen a multiplicity of Athletes break college records all the time, and don't receive that type of outsized Publicity/PR entering the pro's as Clark. One of the reasons for this, is: We've witnessed numerous NCAA record holders over the years, flop in the pro's. So that wouldn't be the reason (for the outsized PR/Propaganda/Expectations/$$$, they threw Clark's way before her fist game).

Some people are just realizing how great a player Reese is. She's the smallest player in the paint and her work ethic is top tier. I sometimes wonder if she didn't sustain a Jones fracture and surgery on her foot and leg, and if she was 10 or 15 pounds bigger, what she would be doing. I don't think even the great A'ja Wilson could hold her. This is awesome to see for women's basketball.

Did you see that play where Caitlin passed Angel the ball, they had a brief conversation where Angel presumably encouraged her to take the shot, Angel passed the ball back to Caitlin and then set a quick screen to give her space to shoot a long three? Angel was being unselfish and wanted Caitlin to get her shine as well.

She loves the kids. She's always hugging and loving on the babies that come to see her. They line up little girls and boys excitedly waiting outside the tunnel after every game and win or lose, she comes and shows the kids love. I love when athletes are humble with the babies and show them love. I remember being that age and how amazing of an experience that must've been for the baby to get a signed sneaker from a WNBA player. She was so happy!

Did you watch the college men’s basketball in the days before they could dunk? Probably a youngster. Well here’s some knowledge for you. The dunk is the highest percentage shot there is. If the NBA players had to lay up the ball their shooting percentages would drop. Common sense should tell one that laying a ball up while being defended is harder then reaching for the rim. When they legalized the college dunk post players fg% skyrocketed. That is documented fact. Now, back to your regularly scheduled false narrative…
