I wanted to thank you very much for this tutorial. The marker pin is such a genius idea. It made keeping up with which stitch to finish up at so, so much easier. Before on another version hat, I kept messing up either getting a extra stitch, missing one or two, or ending in lop-sided rows. No matter how careful, I still messed up thus giving up after 8th try. This is the first time, I've spot-on each row without re-doing until row 20. Confused at ending with 99 a 2nd time, but then realizing I just needed to adjust so that it's in sequence again. I ended with a beautiful, store-bought like hat. So satisfied. Thank you so much. Maybe I attempt that hat again.
great video very clear instructions, but i have i finished the hat and its more like a fruit bowel, im not sure if you have any advice on how i can tighten it without undoing the whole thing! shall i add in decrease stitches at all?? i used 4 ply dk yarn and 4mm hook thank you!
If it is too big my suggestion is to run a ribbon or yarn around the brim and use it to tighten and ribbon tie it. It makes a great accent and you don't have to undo your stitches. Hope this helps. Thank you!
Hi. I have few questions here. 1st will be what is the number of height and weight for this hat? 2nd question is how many balls/skeins of yarns you using for this hat? And the weight number of the yarns ball/skein too. I hope you can help me with those curious questions. Thank you. God bless you.
1 skein for beige color and 1 skein for blue color. I used the Lily Sugar 'n Cream cotton yarn. And I think the height for this hat is about 9 1/2 inches. Thank you!
Decrease your starting round (round 1). This pattern starts with 12 hdc, maybe you can start with 10 or 8 depending on your preference. Thank you for asking.
Thank you so much for your time and show how to make this spring hat. Easy to follow your instructions.😃

I think row 20 should be started with 2hdc in one stich because it gave me only 99 stiches at the end of the row :)
Yes, feel free to adjust. Thank you for sharing!
Can you make the brim wider?
Can you use a smaller hook
May I ask how long it actually took you?
How can you make this tighter to fit the head better

for how many so you do this for ?
for how rounds
Same as the pattern. You can also try on the project to decide how long you want the hat to be.
thank you for sharing it :) btw what size the hat is? what is the round of the human head that can wear this hat size?Thank you.
Head size is about 22 or 23 inches and this is loose-fitting.
What size of yarn? Thank you.
#4 medium weight yarn. Thank you!
@@CraftingShed Thank you.
How many inches from top to row 19 ?
Is the crown or skull part of the hat supposed to fit snug?
No, this does not have a snug fit. It's a little bit loose, like there's space for the head to breathe. Thank you!
Where can I find the pattern to this
What size hook???
Size H (5.00 mm).
Thank you!!😊
Are you a filipina? Just curious
Yes, I am 😊
