Ugh, I hate cleaning the old oil and sludge from an engine bay, but... it's gotta be done! Need to clean and paint the engine bay in your classic or muscle car? Follow along!

I love that VHT Rollbar and Chassis paint. It comes out heavy and settles well (even the runs I had don't look as bad today!)

Another trick is to use family dollar oven cleaner. Let set for 10-15 minutes and spray with water. Easier on the pockets and does a great job.

I sure wouldn't worry about that battery holder, you will never notice it with a battery on top of it.

Yeah, I figured that would be the case, but then I'd also know that it looked like crap under there :) lol
