The thing about d double is that he's not necessarily as lyrically skilled as other artists but his ability to ride flows and bring energy to beats is unbeaten, hes more of an MC than a "rapper". Hes my favourite artist, i saw him live and ihe was insanely good
i really respect the respect you have for our music and culture, been watching all your UK reactions the past couple days and its really refreshing to see someone who reacts to more than just Aitch or Dave @@Jurnalist_
at 32:42 D double is saying: "get physical, and brutal. You might end up in hospital when I'm on the riddim I come like God.." He just says the start of the last bar really fast
@@Codsworth_ Fully agreed. Badly aged at times because a lot of it is just random Dubs and even radio clips. It was never an official Mixtape published by D Double, from what I know some random guy put it together and just went on to sell it. Real authentic grime though,
Yo Jurnalist, would love to see you link up with Black Pegasus - he's a US UA-cam reactor who's just started down the UK rabbit hole and it's been blowing his mind a little. He's also a rapper. Would love to see you guys link up and discuss what's in store for him, differences between UK and US spitters and so on.
That's funny, I just seen this but I wrote in Black Pegasus comments prob about same time he should reach out to Jurn for an interview lol. He was talking about wanting to know the differences and what it would be like working in UK (he's a rapper). Lost in the sea of comments though im sure.
He's the best person I've ever seen live GRIME Screw face for the whole set
Crowd helps because I went to see him in Cardiff but crowd had no energy so it could’ve been better.
GREAT UK ALBUM... Nothing like it anywhere on planet Earth. Glad you took the time to sit down with this classic material!
You've most def come a long way with d double.

I totally get him at this point but at first I’m such a purist I couldn’t get outside myself to see. Now I get his status and place.

The fact that every bar on this track is about 20 years old is crazy 😂🔥🔥
