I was sitting next to my husband, his sister, and her husband. I felt so sad and stupid being there and didn't have the appetite to eat at all. My husband did give me a piece of chicken because he saw what his mom did to me. Listening to the part, you explained how important and meaningful the chicken leg is and the reason behind giving someone the chicken leg brought tears to my eyes again. It reminded me of what my mother in law did to me.

my grandpa (mom's dad) uas neeb txwm txoob so after my great grandma passed away like a couple of months after my grandpa ua neeb mus hloov ntsuj hloov hlauv he saw my great grandma and he started to cry made everybody cry..it was so sad he was talking and crying n we can actually understand him..then tus hwj sawv have to hlauwv ntawv to cov dab neeb to move forward and block my grandpa and great grandma.. my Dads dad also do neeb txwv txoob but he passed away in his sleep when my dad was 10..later we found out that the people from the other side tuaj tos nws mus ua neeb on the other side. he was able to finish the neeb but when he came back to the gate it passed the time the gate between the two world has closed so he couldn't come back. therefore he passed away in the living world..it's amazing to be able to experience all these things coming from a family of neeb siv yis..
