excellent diy video, saved a bunch of money sending it to a repair shop instead of replacing with a new $1600 unit, saved over $1200 in just repair vs new not to mention the high cost of dealership labor. The only thing to add is there is a windshield rain/moisture detector that needs to come off before the first piece of trim can be removed. easy to figure out that 2 screws held it in place
mine doesn't have the chrome trim piece around the face of the radio so I cant pop it off to see the screws my dash seals tight againdt the radio .I s their a video of one like that

Which cable attached to the center console provides the power to it? I replaced my screen but had the whole panel blackout on me...fuses seem to be ok
