Excellent information Dude. Sincerely appreciate your insight and knowledge of the skill. I am of the opinion that the pre set and grip is where the magic of DI begins. It’s real if you can do it and it’s not if you can’t. All the best sir.

I always set the dice, but yesterday I tried 1 random roll just for the helluvit to see what happens, I 7'd out on the 3rd roll & immediately went back to dice setting. But then this other guy at the table got the ATS, Rolled numerous hard ways, & made 5 points and He was shake rattle & random rolling. I never get lucky like that, So I am forced to set the dice.

@@toxsickdog I see the same thing as well. You practice and practice and then a random roller has a huge roll. Remember, dice setting is an edge and over the long haul, will make a huge difference.

@@dicesetters the biggest advantage In my opinion is that you can target numbers you want, for instance trying to hit the ATS by switching up the dice set as you go along, It makes a difference.

@toxsickdog Very true. As long as the dice sets are equally strong.

@@dicesetters I did really well today using the 6-4 1-4 set today. Rolled about 50 I was not counting rolls but I rolled a 53 a few months ago & It felt the same, and I easily hit all the numbers and tons of 6's including 5 hard 6's & 3 H10's. that Dice set is real tricky, because there is a 7 on top & bottom, And hard 6 and 8 front to back. SO,,,,,,,, The angle of the Dice has to be just right so that you are hitting the front & back more than the top. I usually get mixed results, But today I had the angle just right and really focused on the angle each roll, I normally get my long rolls switching dice sets throughout the roll, It's rare that I get a long roll using the same set, but this time I must have been in the zone. when I say "angle" I am referring to the Grip Angle and angle of release, it makes a huge difference with that Dice set, more than with other sets, from my experience. what I like about it is I get less 2-5 seven outs because the 5's are kissing, so instead I get hard 4's & hard 10's have you had much luck with that set?

@toxsickdog Awesome to hear about your roll. Everything comes together for an incredible win. I have never used that dice set. I will give it a try.
