Wow!!! I live in an island, I have to do this pattern!!! Thank you so much. Chantel, I have a question, please: is it possible to incorporate this pattern in a jar cover? It's hard to me calculate how many cords to use...
Hilary Mair I found this cord by chance at a local store - not sure where you are located but they have a few stores within Ontario, Canada. It is called “Lens Mills”. Thanks
Sorry, it's me again, Chantel! I wanna make a jar cover with this pattern. So I have 35 cords on my jar and I will have 6 shells. Is this work for a jar cover? Also I would like to star with a circular double half hitch before the shells, but I already failed... do you have any tutorial on that, please?
Hi Karla, thanks for the message. I have not used this pattern for a jar cover but I'm sure it would work. Did you want to do one round of double half hitch knots around the top of the jar? I would recommend cutting another piece of cord and using that as your filler cord and tying double half hitch knots to that cord. I have a circular pattern using double half hitch knots but not one that goes around a jar. I'll link it for you below as you might find it helpful. Thank you! ua-cam.com/video/POxXaLszNlM/v-deo.html

Hi there, I love this pattern and am a beginner to Macrame, may I ask how long are your cords please?
I cut these cords about 3 meters long and then folded them in half and attached to my dowel using Lark’s Head knots!
@@LotsofKnotsCanada That's fantastic, thank you so very much for your prompt reply. Have a fab day.
I'm thinking about trying to sell some of my macrame on Etsy and other sites. Can I use your patterns of i give you credit for using your patterns?
Bonnie Johnson yes you can!
@@LotsofKnotsCanada Thank you! You truly are an inspiration and so talented!
