  • Hi and welcome to yet another vlog from amazing Myanmar (Burma)! In this vlog we're in the former capital Yangon and explore the city's suburban areas on a 3 hour circular train. We make friends with an amazing local young man, who takes us to an incredible wet market, where he guides us around, buys fruit for us and takes us to the international part of the market where we have a yummy Burmese lunch.
We also check out the city centre, visit the impressive Shwedagon Pagoda, where another local young man takes us under his wing and makes our visit very interesting. On top of all this we try some local food and get to experience an unfortunate event that unfoldes in the city centre.
We hope you enjoy this video as much as we did putting it together. Don't forget to leave us a like, comment, question, and remember to subscribe!! Love to all of you! ❤️

Thank you for sharing your experience in Yangon. As a local from Myanmar, it’s heartwarming to see travelers appreciate our culture, food, and hospitality. The circular train ride is indeed a unique way to explore the city and its vibrant markets. Your interaction with locals and trying traditional snacks like samosas truly captures the spirit of Yangon.
I hope more people get inspired to visit and experience the beauty of Myanmar. Safe travels on your continued journey!

Great video! Lots of familiar sights, since I was born in Yangon. By the way, the spicy pickled mango was not meant to be eaten by itself. A small about of these should be mixed up with various nuts, fried scallion, dried shrimp, and sliced cabbage and ate as salad, the way tealeaf salad is. Even so, I'd say it's an acquired taste that might not be agreeable to outsiders.
