watch closely, Minowa did not tap. he was trying to reach and grab his other arm, so he could secure the arm position. Adiwang knew Minowa didn't tap, so he kept twisting his arm further away. they would not stop unless the ref stops.
@@julakiss it is the referee's job to inform Adiwang that his opponent tapped, not him. He'll just keep twisting unless the referee intervenes. Ive seen fighters who tapped already but their opponent wasn't aware and kept on until someone, like a competent referee, informed them of the situation.
Referee and Commentator did not see the tapping. Why is that? Too dangerous that might cause an injury. Anyway just an MMA fan not the ref.

Even if he tapped out, there was actually sportsmanship in this match. Give it up for both of them!
2:37 was a tap from Minowa
Minowa didn’t tap he was merely trying to defend by reaching for his other hand, the ref was very attentive to the situation and called for him to “give up” 2x, at 2:18.
When ref called give up at 2:38, Minowa reached out for his other hand to defend the submission attempt, at 2:36 if he wanted to give up or tap out the referee would have noticed as his right hand would have been visible to the referee.
Minowa rolled over to defend as it was the only possible way to escape at 2:48 you can see the intention of minowa, as he grabbed his hand to defend another possible kimura attempt. But transitioned it into a north south holding position
Overall minowa was clearly the more aggressive fighter the entire match scoring the takedown and maintaining dominant control over adiwang, shutting down the stand up game.
The Refinery's ignored Minowa's tapped Adiwang leg.

This fight was for his dying mother and he couldn't even be given the win from cause of the ref. Minowa played it off like it wasn't that big of a deal.

@@hoofyah I already watch all he's fight mate. there is one opponent that got break he's arm because he did not surrender and also referee did not stop the fight even do Adiwang saying it already. that was happen before this fight and I am sure in this fight he didnt want to happen that again. How can a sigle arm win in 2 arms with feet lock in he's body? hahaha.. even you you can break athletes arm in that position. lol. their main focus was only to submit and again not to break someone arm. if that was hard to understand then go on with your own.. lol.. it is not just breaking I repeat!!!!

I thought Minowa did tapped out. But given that Adiwang won that fight, without that tap, Minowa did clearly put up a great fight well deserve of a win. A true winner wouldn't settle for just one missed opportunity. Adiwang could have proven that he can deal with his opponent's arsenals which he failed to do. Adiwang is a great prospect but I always thought he has a lot more improving to do on his ground game. And it showed in this match. He can't just always rely on that Kimura chance to come.
Let's say minowa didn't tap out, lito adiwang still won this fight by UD because off those submission attempts that nearly finish minowa, those nearly finishes earns a high score in score card, minowa didn't do any submission, he's on defensive mode, and he's game plan is just make the fight longer take the fight on the ground and stay on the tap, but didn't do any damage or submission attempt.adiwang should won by UD. But there is something in onefc that never give adiwang a victory. And soon they make a rematch, just to sell the fight, this is business.
I think the management is building up another fighter for a money fight, and thats not Adiwang.
It's something to be watchful everytime coz when greatfighter fights others disregard what they see like tapping hands of the opponent ,when this kind continues it will affect the credibility of MMA.

I believe that Minowa deserved the win. I mean it‘s keep your guard up at all times until the referee separates the fighters. I didn‘t look like Lito Adiwang was loosening his grip and Minowa could‘ve had the option to tap verbally. All in all a great fight.
