In this series of ‘Goa to Gujarat (Ahmedabad) Road trip’ you all are welcome to my third longest car journey where you will enjoy ‘virtually’ with me different places, cities and their styles, cultures, variety of food & their taste etc as this ride is going to be 1200+ kms one way.
We will be covering this distance in 2 days considering night halt and meal breaks etc and of course our car too needs break to cooldown in hot summer ☺️,Shopping is also there na 🤗.

Coming there in few days by car please tell safe route

Routes are safe for both way, but try to avoid late evening or night as Ghat section and secondly big buses/lorries are plying in the nights so better to avoid.

I am planning to take this route day after tomorrow but not able to make sense of the directions. I am looking at the map and what tou are saying doesn't show up. Can you share the exact stop I need to put in gmap when going from Goa to Pune. Thanks

Type Kolhapur in google map then add stop Gaganbawda, it will show. This is the route on which mostly all Luxury buses (For Pune-Mumbai) are plying, 2nd route is oldest via Amboli-Nipani or via Gargoti-Adamapur, from this route we have been travelling several times so this time we had gone via Gaganbawada as it is scenic.
