im seeing people say that this was a bad move because not many people use netflix. you know netflix… the worlds largest streaming service. im hyped for this
A part where I believe Netflix is missing out is that they won't stream it worldwide, just in North and South America. I think there are huge markets in places like Europe, India or Saudi Arabia where they will miss out on a ton of WWE viewers.
From what I've heard, so this could be false, but Nakamura is building a beach house or a surf shop in Orlando Florida and that is also a big reason that Okada wants to go to WWE and NXT so he can spend a lot of time surfing with Nakamura and just being able to do it more often.(Japanese wrestlers LOVE surfing, it is most of their wrestlers, favorite hobbies.) I think Okada is still considering and could end up in either AEW and TNA or WWE, but WWE does have the money to get Okada now and Okada's wife is more famous in Japan than him because she's a HUGE japanese voice actress and she might be interested in WWE due to Endeavor being such a strong media company with ties to Disney, Warner, and now Netflix. Okada could use this opportunity to not only benefit himself and his career, but also his wife's career.
I think this is a very smart move you bringing more fans and bringing back causal fans, world wide fans. Maybe bring back a little attitude era feel as well. People Rarely use cable, so great move
Okada is going to be in Impact Wrestling this week. Regardless of where he ultimately lands this is one kf our last times to see him before the big csreer change.
I'm from The UK and I am genuinely happy for this, since I can finally actually watch the show¹ instead of UA-cam clips or watch the reviews from Wrestletalk (minus Smackdown reviews) ¹ since the only WWE shows that I've watched on Sky (yeah I know) were WWE Superstars (before it got discontinued) & Raw Rewind (what happened on Raw The previous week)
Honestly Okada going to NXT is great. Think of the matches we will get Okada V Breakker, Okada V Dragounv, Okada V Hayes, Okada V Trick. Like this is awesome and alot of indy fans know Okada so that can bring eyes back on next which is great
I would be down to see Kazuchika Okada vs Ilja Dragunov even if it's not for the NXT championship if Dragunov does drop the title to Trick Williams at Vengeance Day
I genuinely hope so plus it would be great for them business wise as it'll reach a wider audience especially considering Netflix is a much bigger streaming platform both within the US and internationally plus it'll honestly be easier to handle and scroll than Peacock
Okada going to NXT makes perfect sense, he is popular within the die hard marky fanbase but not so on the casual viewer, imagine being a casual wrestling viewer then suddenly some asshole starts dropping money, who doesnt speak english well, out of nowhere hyped by commentary, then just beats a Seth Rollins on a regular monday night raw for me it makes sense for the WWE to introduce him slowly beating everyone coming up the ranks 🤷🏻♂️
Honestly Raw and potentially its other moving to Netflix could potentially see the product become looser and a bit more edgy due Netflix having less restrictions and maybe Raw potentially moving back to 2 hours(thats just me tho)
Technically they don’t have to put okada on NXT , if anything he could Enter the Performance Center this February & train within the WWE program & debut at Wrestlemania. and afterwards if so , they could have him do in ring promos on raw or smackdown & no matches until he completes his PC tasks & then move forward. It’s literally disrespectful to send this guy to nxt . Stop it.
I guess I'm going to have to freaking get Netflix now . I thought peacocks set up was awesome. I hope it's the same kind of what I will watch WCW ECW Awa
@@MIAMI305ersBut the difference between AJ, and Okada is that AJ was already familiar with the American scene of Wrestling, but Okada mostly spent his time in NJPW so it makes sense he would go to NXT
Okada to nxt is not good from him I get it “maybe a lot of people wouldn’t know who okada is” but okada basically said this is his last run they need to make him go to smackdown or raw
Peacock is only for usa. The Netflix deals for the long term is to replace wwe network outside of the US. In the UK, you're spending about £42 ($84) per month for wwe Television & PLE. Next year, you'll be spending £12 ($24) per month for it.
dude vince is not even in the bored tko or wwe anyone he was let go a last year after his hush money scandal came out. Hhh is now in charge of wwe and some dude named Ari Emanuel is now taken vince spot in tko. Please next time do your research

Netflix has gotten pretty pricey in recent years tho
People be saying anything these days
People saying this is a bad move = AEW marks
@@InfectiousGroovePodcast nah it's just idiots (not mutually exclusive tho)
AEW marks should be happy with this news
I see the rock stepping down quietly in 2 to 5yrs
Damn, bro. Vince definitely has some news now

You are right but wwe has active tv Deals in these other countries, they cant break contracts

It's funny you said unless something drastic happens for Vince to step away and BOOM
Sex Trafficking
Now the real talk is do we think wwe library and premium live events are also going to follow to Netflix

Kinda are in other country’s the ple will be on it.

First 53 seconds aged like milk

Yeah nah vince is no more the chairman💀
2025 already shakin to be epic first GTA 6 is finally coming and now this woowwww🔥🔥
plus the new superman movie the batman 2 captain america four it is gonna be sick i agree
this aged well lol took what like a day or two for Vince to be gone
There's nothing like TKO destroying another Billon dollar company
Honestly I don't see why can't they just have pay-per-views on peacock because they have a contract it just does not
Dude it’s gonna be live no question
Btw Raw Has Been On Air Live Cable Since January 1993 . not 1997 or 2000.
I think it’s a great that raw will go to Netflix !

Hopefully they dont censor the crowd.
I don't think netflix will.
Since there is alot of 16+/18+ films & programmes on there as well as netflix own programs
I guess I'm going to have to freaking get Netflix now .

Vince is only on the board
I been had Netflix
Let me find out there gonna be a Netflix+ 🤦♂️
Ok
Why would Okada go to NXT? That’s crazy
To probably learn the WWE style of Wrestling as well as to slowly familiarize himself with the audience .
@@Kalel2.0 To be honest if they want to make him a big superstar put him on the main roster from the get go like they did with AJ

If his like Dragon Lee, he would be on raw or smackdown before the end of the year.
Okada to nxt is about as dumb as Jar Jar being a Sith Lord. exactly why i stopped watching Wrestling channels. It's good to know nothing changed
Was peacock not enough?

damn njpw really losing everyone
Okada NEEDS to be #allelite!!
Lol u act like hulu aint been doing weekly episodes
Okada is way too big for NXT
Facts!!
Shinsuke was a big star in New Japan and he started in NXT
The only reason he would go to NXT is so that he can learn the style used in WWE, and become familiar with the fans
So in other words, they gonna nerf Okada
OVW is on Netflix with only 7 episodes. RAW being on Netflix will mean the same thing. No more year long wrestling. Netflix doesn't do live streaming.
Raw isn't gonna be 7 episodes 😂
@@MogajiMohammedIt won't be 300 either.
