Donavon Frankenreiter. Donovan was a professional Surfer at the time he recorded his first album. At that time he still made a living from sponsors from his surfing career. Donovan grew up in Hawaii. Jack Johnson also a professional Surfer and one Donovan's good friends. Jack Johnson had already established himself as a musician. Jack heard Donovan play some songs ., Jack said to Donovan do you want to make an album, Donovan said yes. The song you hear is off Donovan's first album which was a masterpiece and hard to find now. As well just for information. I'm not sure about Donovan, but Jack Johnson was born and raised in Hawaii and it's extremely a good person and has done so much for Hawaii. I do believe that Jack and Donovan grew up together as Surfers had known each other for years and years.
