This reminds me of an Anise seed strung necklace bought for my mother by her soldier boyfriend I think while he was in the Philipines. I could be wrong about the place of purchase, but I never got over the beauty of this simple necklace. Loved your video and thanks for the inspiration. This is one necklace that will not deteriorate with time as did my mom's Anise treasure.

I really love this bracelet. I also love when you do the videos. You have a great voice for videos and you are easy to follow, you do not go too fast. I really wish there was written instructions. When I make items from your videos I go back a write the instructions myself, BUT this one is very detailed in the way you make the daisy components and attach them. I will have to try to write the pattern. I do this so I can go back a make them again at a later date if I want to. Anyway I enjoy you and the way you conduct yourself on the videos. I never feel rushed and you have a soothing voice to listen too. Gloria

This is a lovely bracelet, but it certainly gave you a fight to be borne! The metallic flax miniduos are a very nice colour, I much prefer the softer golds to some of the more blingy or very bright ones.

Material amounts are in the description box below the video. I used about 15 grams of miniDuo's for this bracelet. Depending on your wrist size you may use more or less. I wear a 7 inch bracelet.
i love this bracelet would like to make it with 2 rows instead of 3 just dont no how to start the second row
Hi Jill😃 Start the daisies with just the 2 connectors on one side instead of both sides. Instead of the Mini Duos on the other side just add seed beads. Then add the second row as I do the side rows in the video. Hope this helps🌻

G'Day Little Bear of the Sunshine Northern land, I needed to come back and have a look at your design and on checking I discovered that the powers that be have whisked my adorable and delightful Novel out into the never-never of the Universe. Who knows some little space creatures some were in the vast Cosmos had a great read and laugh.!!!!!!! I hope that they don't zap any more of my novels to you. I am now a renown "scribe to the stars" I will send you a autograph signed on my PA photo!!!!!!! It was such a lovely Novel too. I started out with telling you how I was enjoying your video will eating my lovely prepared breakfast (by my out of this world hubby) and drinking a hot coffee and that it rounded out my chilly morning. Next I described how I loved your lovely fresh daisy bracelet and that I though how it gave me hope that while it has been a very chilly, windy and rainy weather here (and my daughter has told me that there is a very nasty cold front going to hit here within the next couple of days and get this...A big chance of "SNOW" that's right I said snow falling at sea level) that the promise of Spring would hopefully be a round the corner and bring back the much needed warmth that my little rounded body so craves. I may get out the Christmas decorations, cook a ham and have plum pudding with thick hot custard while dancing through the snow singing Jingle Bells.......Don't worry my little bear I will send photos of your big hippo pal doing all of the above!!!!!!! Now let me think (bear with me as the little grey cells are nearing their charging time) I mentioned that I thought you could use for one element with the mini duos and another element that the use of normal size duos with pearls connecting the elements would look great. I told you how much I loved the colours and what a wonderful design for the beginner beader. Now I'm really scrapping the bottom of the think tank but I'm sure that I asked if you had heard of the thread called SoNo and that I was using it in my fringing in my grand design ( which I have almost finished ....how are you progressing with your challenge?) and I wanted to know if you have used it in work where you would use Nymo. I think that it is a little better as it doesn't seem to fray when working in long lengths of thread. Let me know if you have. I hope that I haven't forgotten anything but you know what happens when we reach that age and enlightenment of the twilight years when having a full running computer trigger sharp minds has passed us at the last mile stone..... we think we did but we don't know if we did we just hope that we did right!!!!! If this travels to my new fan groupies in the cosmos.....I hope that you enjoyed it and if Kerstin is also reading it I hope it brought a smile and brighten up your day and to you my Lovely Little Polar Bear I hope also the you enjoy reading this on your Sunday Morning lay in bed ( with your wonderfully prepared breakfast made by your hubby) and think of your little Wonder Down Under freezing and huddled under her electric throw blanket during the ice age which is "suppose to engulf my little house here in the nether region of this wonderful world.........Blessings XXXXXXOOOOOOOOO

I'm glad you enjoyed the video and the bracelet :) I have been enjoying designing these little pieces for summer as they are faster and easier to make (although they rely a great deal on the beaders experience with tension and bead placement) I have not used SoNo and stopped using Nymo a few years ago when Fireline came into my life LOL!!! In an earlier bead life I used silk thread exclusively haha how things have changed!!! I like the pearl idea with superduos - I have plans for this group of modified daisy chains for the coming fall and holiday season using crystals and pearls for a blingy sparkled up version (a Facebook group member commented that it is the daisy chain all grown up lol) I love that.
Your weather sounds absolutely lovely (to my son LOL) He loves the freezing temps and snow!!! I, on the other hand am enjoying the warm temperatures and lovely weekends at the beach. Well it's Tuesday morning here and at the moment it's hard to know if the creaking sound I'm hearing is the house being rocked by the 50 k wind gusts or my old bones getting ready to start the day!! I haven't as yet got out the skis as the sun is brightly shinning and the sky is mainly blue. And if one wished to believe the weather people then rain is on the way with patches of thunder and lightning LOL LOL but I do concede that the temp is cold.....10 degrees with a wind chill factor of 7 and due to drop much lower this afternoon. I think that they may be right about the rain as someone is flicking the sunlight on and off. As far as the weather goes down here Melbourne is well known as the place that can experience "four seasons in one day" and that can be mainly all year round. One almost needs to carry a suitcase with seasonal clothes for the day!! You would love Darwin as the temps very from 28 to low 30's all year round with lots of great thunder storms and lightning shows. It sounds like my little bear would feel very much at home there!! Your son sounds like Sam (the hubby) and he would enjoy long freezing walks along the beach. They could enjoy the cold Southerly blowing up from the icy Southern Ocean.....it has a real sting to it!!!!! I might be able to join you in Kansas shortly as the wind is getting stronger.....I will grab my "two Toto's and meet you at a coffee shop!!!!!! No make that a bead store then the coffee shop and then more bead stores before I click my ruby slippers to return home!!!!!! You do know that we are now over half way to Christmas and once it reaches August it comes around very quickly so bead at a good pace. I will wait till you have completed before I send pictures of my design. I have two but one is for a show later on in the year and I will let you know which one and I would like your opinion on how it looks. Hopefully this little novel will keep my stellar travelers content on their long Star Trek Voyagers to distant worlds and gives you a god read at either bed time or breakfast. If we talk about the weather , I have to say: Let us meet at Mauritius where the weather is always warm and sunny (temperatur never under 25°c) because I love the warm weather more too, like my two favourite beading sisters. Here in Germany the weather really crazy and it does what it wants. Until now we hadn't have much summer. Temperatur often not over 20 °c and much rain. But there are two ladies who warm me up with their little novels and there are only four weeks left until we will start our little holiday at Fuerteventura. I'm so excited about this because we haven't been on holiday since six years. I'm looking forward to be in the sun and at the beach and to discover this little isle there. I'm counting the days...
I would love to see some pics from the pieces of your challenge, I'm sure they will be beautiful. I'm actually waiting for an order I did on sunday. I ordered a little pack of FIMO to try out if I can make my own cabs. It was so frustrating the last weeks to find the right ones... G'Day My Wonderful Friend, It's great to hear from you and are you sure that you live in Germany? It sounds like you live here down in the Southern parts were we have 4 seasons in one day. I will look up my world map and find out where this wonderfully warm paradise you are referring to and I hope that your holiday is everything you dream it to be. As our lovely counterpart is at the moment in the land of nod, I will say that she would agree with our little plan and it would indeed be great if Stephanie and I could join you. I can just see us.... sitting in deck chairs on the shore line you two in your bikinis and me in my neck to angles swim suit with the add skirt around my rounded large hippo body. Drinking from huge glasses of cocktail type drinks over flowing with every kind of fruit one could imagine. My would be plain fruit juice as I don't drink. Eyeing off the those "gorgeous" men... you know the ones that are described in those romance books or as in my case the crime/romance books that I read. We could slowly meander through the shops (bead ones of coarse) and drink loads of coffee and eat wicked slices of Black Forest cake dribbling with fresh cream!!!! We would have the time of our lives!!!!!!! Let me know how your FIMO cabochons work out. When Stephanie gets her's finished we will have a big show and tell with our designs. Mine will be finished tonight (I hope). May be we could have another one and included you....now there's a great idea and you could use your lovely hand made cabochons!!! I hope that my little novel reaches you as I am having some trouble with some stellar space travelers reading my novels before my earthly friends. You mean SuperDuos instead of MiniDuos ? I made the pattern to use minis so I’m not sure if SuperDuos will work. You can try a small section and see if you like it 🌻

Hi and thank you for the nice comment 🌻 I would keep the amount of beads the same using regular superduos. It will just make a larger bracelet. Could be very cool! If you want a thinner bracelet, consider making it two units wide instead of three so it fits comfortably on your wrist.

Hello! These are soooo cute! I'm relatively new to beading but tried to do this with the superduos I have. Got the first one just fine, but then when I tried to connect them and put the two bottom legs on the second one, it didn't look right. Cut it all apart and am beginning over again tomorrow! Do you have any suggestions that might help? Thank you so much. These are so adorable.♥
Hi Teresa and thank you for your your nice comment!!! I think you need to use the mini-duos to make this work :) Superduos are pretty big so it might not work as well! However, I have not tried it with Superduos so I would suggest you do exactly as you are doing - keep working on it because it might work and be beautiful! Good luck and let me know how it goes. Liesbeth thank you for the kind comment🌻 Each Daisy js made up of 10 mini-duos and a connector mini-duo is added on later. When you make the Daisy you put 10 duos on your needle, add the pearl, step up, and on the step up round more mini-duos are added as connectors😀

are mini duos the same as twin czech bead 2 hole beads? the ones i have say czech glass beads size 2.5x5mm 24g
yaaaz izmee MiniDuos are smaller (2x4mm) than Twins or SuperDuos.

I seem to have problems with bead closures coming apart? Any suggestions?
Hi scrappydoll😄 I know what you mean! A few things I do to keep them secure - I make the loops snug so the bead will just fit the loop, that way it will be more secure. I also use bead closures mostly on bracelets that fit close to the wrist. If the bracelet moves around too much then the loop and bead could come apart. The fit of the bead and loop is important. The bead should be large enough to hold the loop in place. A store bought clasp will be more secure but sometimes a beaded closure looks better. Also, a beaded toggle and loop is a very secure closure and looks pretty too🌻 Hope this helps!

Record yourself in a natural conversation and you will be surprised at how you will be guilty of the same thing! Choosing to watch without sound is a good alternative but you didn’t have to write an unkind comment!
