The Powder Day - Kirkwood, March 2024

There are powder days, and then there are POWDER days. This was THE powder day of the season for us three. Too deep to carry any speed down Timber Creek, we headed into the trees off Chair 5. We have more memories than we have footage, but what we got on camera is pretty sweet too. It may not look fast, but for those of you who have felt fresh powder under your skis, you know how good it feels to nail a fresh line. Someday we'll hit higher speeds on steeper, open runs with fresh pow, but until then, hunting for fresh tracks through the trees just slaps.
