Yay was always the problem, placing in a one and done rather than prioritizing chemistry trampled on Bleed.

Yep.... I wouldn't be surprised if they improve.... And if they do. It's going to be fkn sad for yay because this will definitely impact his career heavily. Orgs will avoid him like he's plague or will look to buy him or sign him for the bare minimum.

i was live at the final. incredible performance from him. You could see that he didn't feel well, apparently he had a headache. I can't explain how he can play so well under such circumstances.
Just a speculation but who knows if there weren't some supstances taken to improve the performance and then there were just side effects. He had drunk a lot, there were 7 cups or so on his table. He had poured water over himself on the stage and went out during the match - a bit strange behavior but I don't want to accuse anyone of anything.
@@jag2871 It's kinda obvious that a lot of players are using stimulants. A lot of players are literally tweaking on stage. Anyone who has experience with stimulant drugs immediately sees the issue with a lot of players.

@@dexq1k I meant group stage the way it is now. The groups then were also based off last year's results which clearly was awfully balanced because of new rosters. Would've been unfair to give points for those wins. There was a group stage but there might as well have not been one.
Kickoff was drastically different and giving points for wins there would've been very stupid since every team had drastically different opportunities to get points, but regular season had every team playing a similar minimum amount of games and it would've been stupid if a team could do well in kickoff but then do horrible the rest of the year and still have a lot of champs points
@@Kryogenix2 That may be true about kickoff but it makes no sense that Stage 1 is worth so much more than Masters. Why does winning against mibr net you 1 point in Americas but then winning against fnatic nets you 0? It makes no sense whatsoever and it feels like a catch-up mechanic.

@@randomdude6674 That's what a "super team" is. Even if they join, I don't think the interrelationships or teamwork will work well. What NRG needs is a player who can inspire and support the team even in tough situations. Saadhak may be good, but Less is not that kind of player.

Agree with you. Saadhak and Less should remain as pillars of LOUD. Even if they move to NRG, they will still make a lot of errors due to poor team potential and interaction.

Actually Kru lost to Lev in Group Stages then got decimated by G2 in Playoffs and then got eliminated by Lev. Tragic but it's KRU, they always bomb out in Playoffs but they will own in Split to just like what they did in last LCQ.
Same case with DRX lmao, they were owning everyone except PRX only to get eliminated bc T1 getting lucky beating GEN G on group stages

DRG is probably the worst team in Shanghai. Heretics will clear it easily.
FPX looks many times better than it did in Madrid, so it's likely to confuse FUT. I'd especially like to see the icebox match. Will LIFE Clove really work in FUT.

Really, NRG is a failed super team. think what they need most right now is a hype man like Zellsis or Boostio who is not afraid of criticism and can motivate the team. And Chet is no longer a competent coach, he is now a corrupted and incompetent coach who is nothing more than a fraud. There are many good coaches in NA, especially in Tier 2 & LFT, so if they are going to drop, they should drop him as well as the players.
Nah you can’t say that about chet or any coach like this because we as the viewers only know 10% of the what is happening.
It’ll turn into a sacy & pancada situation where they prioritize the English speaker eventually
@@kazle3772nah I can't lie we might have underestimated how much of an effect fns had on chets coaching ability. in most of their vlogs and stuff it seemed like fns was incredibly involved and even watching his streams it's pretty obvious he contributed a considerable amount. not saying chet is bad by any means but fns may have made him look a lot better than he is.

NRG biggest mistake was not targeting the best IGL available. I do not know why they even thought Ethan is a good IGL. Even in cs days Ethan was not an igl
WIth Yay gone, Deryeon is on duelist and crazyguy fills in. I would be surprised if they even reach playoffs, this just seems like a massive downgrade to me. Deryeon is shit with jett and decent with raze and crazyguy cant get frags.

I believe the problem is the org itself. I don't think bleed put in that much effort as fnatic or prx or any other top tier 1 teams do. You could watch in VCT pacific contents, the bleed coach seems unprofessional, relaxed, everything seems chill and not stressed. Yay playing in dsg and now bleed, both a tier 2, destroyed his skills with the environmnt, practices and everything. The fact that yay take off a vacation to move things up from his apartment in LA shows that he's really slacking off. Look at fnatic and alecks from the physical form, their eyes getting baggy, even Leo got sick in matchdays. They are literally not sleepin, and even with that hard work, it really doesn't guarantee anything.
Imagine if they start winning😅yay might not be needed in bleed and they are just wasting money on him

The teams which made flashy decisions instead of the changes which were needed to be made failed to create a roster. Like bld getting yay even though his limited agent pool which they couldn't adjust to. Also nrg which is highly in a need of a vibe merchant and good caller (igl). We dont know yet why their macros are bad even though they have great callers like fns said, but nrg does need changes. On contrary look at 100t, they needed boostio who was definitely goong to improve them but no one expected him to do this much, he just changed the entire team environment also their coach. Lev also did a decent job of team making where they made some logical choices , dropping nozwer did hurt the team chemistry but in the end they recovered.
8:09 there was an actual live draw on the americas stream after the games yesterday. So at the very least that is better than what happened with Madrid

I didn't know that playoffs gave champ points as well. It makes SEN's chances of getting to champs much worse. I could see them not making it there entirely since they have lesser games in the second split.
They already have a headstart from kickoff and madrid, so I think they make champions considering they play well for the second split.

@@toxicfear4208 If 100T wins one game more than SEN (which they can since they play one more match), the it might get complicated for SEN to reach champs. Its a serious kick in the balls to the team that won a major. Just shows how atrocious the format is. Like if you are giving extra points to playoffs matches here, then you should have also given extra points for playoff matches at Kickoff.
Even the format of Masters Shanghai is very bad. The 1st seeds have an insane advantage. Some teams will literally have to play 3 matches before any of the 1st seeds play even 1. In comparison, the 1st seeds at Madrid just got a slightly easier 1st match against some other 2nd seed. I though that they were compensated by the 3 extra points, but now, they were completely shafted.

Kickoff had random groups so it was unfair to reward teams points in their groups when at the time they weren't even sorted into those groups. Masters Madrid had 4 less teams and didn't have the 1st seed teams come out on top of 6 weeks of competition. You are only complaining because SEN were so bad during Split 1 and have fumbled the massive advantage they were given so you're blaming the format lmao
They just need to do good in Split 2. beating NRG,C9,KRU is easier. If they are at the bottom. then they don't deserve to be in champs.
Top 1-3 in stage 2 will go to champs and Top 4 is champs points.
G2 and 100T will be at a disadvantage coming to Split 2. (New meta viper nerf)

Its because madrid was a mickey mouse tourney. Imagine a playoffs single elim to qualify for the event? And only 2 per region. Ofcourse the incentives are higher when its a full season + double elim playoffs

I don't think Sadhaak is leaving Loud. Man, NRG are gonna really double down on being a super team. Also it needs to be said, Chet is nothing without FNS. Also, the mini effect is showing in Fnatic's gameplay.
They can keep Marved and Demon1 if they want to get Less and Saadhak, then maybe add Pancada instead of keeping Ethan. Saadhak is good in making plays for duelists. We didn't really expect much from qck but at least he still fills the duelist role because of Saadhak.

I really dont understand why NRG is looking to keep buying all-star players rather than refining their current team. It wont fix their teamwork even with new players. It was a risky decision when SEN picked up Pancada and Sacy, great effort from Pancada to learn english but he was still benched and only Sacy stuck with the main roster. Let's flip the script, IMAGINE after EG winning Champions and their disbandment (not fully), Loud decided to pick up Demon1 instead of qck1 because he was the rising star? Ill say this. Yay is the problem of bleed. BUT. Thats because yay is a player where you need to build a roster around him to succeed. Once you do that its great. Just look at optic. Their system was great, especially during the chamber meta. Even now in the current meta, im sure they would fair well. Its just that bleed picked up yay without building a system around him. Yay’s peaks are really high when you can achieve this but his lows are incredibly low when you dont.

What are you on about? Sen won 3 games in stage 1 (3pts), and won the kickoff event (3pts) and Madrid (3pts), hence their 9pts

Only winning kickoff was worth 3 points in every region. Sen won kickoff and got 3 points, then winning madrid gave them 3 and now they won 3 games in the split 1 where each game is worth 1 point. So they have 9 points, not 13. Wdym it counts for other teams?

i love the fact ppl side with g2 and 100t for the exhaustion but aint sympathic of loud or sen who have been playing the most games and deepest runs off kickoff and madrid and with basically no days off jumping into the next split with every team coming for ur back, also i would disagree with joshrt youve had fkin months to prepare and u basically played no games in kick off stage 1 was a clean slate same with 100t and each team has played 7\8 matches if ur feeling exhausted playing 7 games with a clean slate and a 8 month break basically then you shouldnt be playing competive fps's nor any sport for that matter and u need to get a doctors appointment
