Dan and David also Buy and Sell the biggest Chargers storylines and overreactions like selling Justin Herbert winning MVP and earning an AFC West crown in Jim Harbaugh's first year. We may not see the video game numbers Herbert has out up in the past, but can he still be a top-10 fantasy QB? The guys also discuss why fans should brace themselves for some of the draft picks from the prior regime be. to be cut.

If someone asks you for a prediction you can't just say you have to see it before predicting something. That's literally not what a prediction is. Also, Jared Goff is in a run first system and threw for over 4500 yards last year. Implying Herbert is somehow not going to reach Goff status is crazy imo. Heck, even the Browns threw for over 4000 yards with a bunch of different QBs last year and they're run, run, run. Give Herbert, Harbaugh and Roman some respect... they know what they have in the passing game. Finally, the Chiefs have had a pretty rough offseason with a bunch of controversies. Raiders and Broncos both beat them last year so to think we won't be as good as the Raiders or Broncos from last year is also crazy. Either way, love your show! Bolt up!

I always thought maybe they should try woods at CB. Maybe minimizing the distance he’s coming downhill to tackle would help with the whiffs

Rookie players better get their money on their first contract because NFL is replacing more and more players with rookies.

Ladd MCConkey could have been a first rounder WR in other years. I’m hopping the Chargers took Ladd because they saw first round talent in the second round because they sacrificed not bolstering their defense which was way worse than the offense the last few years.

Futures bet has Ladd to gain the most passing yards for a rookie wide receiver @ 11-1

I hope Justin does not ignore or not even get past his first read and miss out on wide open receivers just because he likes Ladd the most. I saw reps were Herbert threw to a covered player when another WR had more separation. Hopefully he has more time this year to find the open man.

I saw a video on Mike McDonald’s defenses in Baltimore. How much of an influence did McDonald have on Jessie Minter? McDonald’s defenses look very intriguing. The video was very excited for the Seahawks next year.

Not concerned about Justin Herbert's play this coming season. Greg Roman made Alex Smith, Coliin K, and Lamar elite with his system. I'm more concerned about the linebackers, the interior defensive line, the deep safety and the corners. Even though Chris Harris made the moronic remark about Herbert not being clutch, but Harris did say that Herbert didn't have a top defense.(and Harris was a big part of those bad defenses), I'm keeping a close watch on how the defense personnel changes during training camp. If the defense can move toward a top 15 defense, the Chargers will make the playoffs.

When it comes to MVP awards it’s going to come down to offensive line play and defensive line play. Because the team needs to win! Without good line play you probably are not going to win a lot of games. What happens if Bozeman gets hurt or has a down year! Chargers picked up Ladd instead of another lineman. What if the interior defensive line does not improve significantly from last year or there are injuries?

We should all be excited about Ladd. However, he is a little dude coming in to NFL. Does not matter if he played in the SEC. Back and ankle injuries happened in college. That is a problem. Why is he still so small? Why did he not put on more weight when he had the opportunity.
That is the question that needs to be asked of him. one big hit on a slant route from a safety or linebacker easily can make this excitement meaningless

Give Ladd the ball on 3rd down if he is open. Don’t just throw to him because he’s your favorite. It’s better to spread the ball around if possible.

You guys are crazy … Herbert will win the MVP because he will have good o line and running game .. the Chargers will win the division because the chiefs barely beat horribly coached Chargers teams in past.. the chiefs can’t even beat the raiders. Have some courage .. stop saying what the mainstream media says … Harbaugh did it with San Francisco with far less talent

Happy to have Ladd, but he hasn't even started/finished a season yet, and let's be clear... Keenan is a borderline HOF player... and a legend for the Chargers no matter how it panned out... ain't nothing wrong with praising Keenan for his time as a Bolt.
