Every time I see one of your ol’ videos, I realize how much I miss enjoying your adventures with you on a regular basis. I miss coming with you on your journeys and wish you well!
If you end up on the east side of lolo pass a few miles down from the the summit follow the signs to the Jack awesome lunch place old bar built out of huge logs good lunch place with camping
Best way to turn around on a narrow dirt track like that is drive the front wheel up the hill or bank then pull the clutch and swing the front wheel around buy gravity!
I used Cardo coms for several years and when the batteries died I went to Sena. I was disappointed with the Sena and went back to Cardo and got a Packtalk. I am very happy with the Packtalk. But they don’t have a camera :(
You guys are great together. Such a positive on-camera attitude. Love that your His & Hers bikes couldn't be more different. At a time when EVERY video is on board an "Adventure Bike", it's refreshing to see that dirt roads are for Harley tourers too! Cheers
Just great 👍 you guys are living my dream. 💐 I explored a lot of this beautiful country but what you do is phenomenal 🇺🇸🏍️ Have safe rides and thanks for sharing 🙏🍀 hope to see you on the road 💐🥂😎
Hey Guys, on fixing the windshield extension on Chris's bike... I had the same problem so I went to the hardware store and bought 2 small bolts, 2 washers for each bolt and 2 wing nuts... this way I can make any adjustments as needed AND the shield does not vibrate... I have never had an issues after doing this... Ho Ho Ho...i'm Santa Mo
Great video. I've been there several times. A little more trivia. Yankee Fork Dredge was steel construction and Sumpter is wood. If you know where to look you can find remains of two smaller dredges around the Sumpter area. Thanks for letting us join you.
Awesome videos and commentary! I can’t imagine the amount of editing it takes to produce these videos, but the final product makes it all worth it! Thank you again, happy trails ❤
I am use to your videos ending at camp. I was a little surprised by the ending. The views on many unpaved roads are wonderful. The views makes the challenge worth it.
I am really enjoying your time in Idaho along with your stories. I had to look up the travel journal I write when I am out on my MC trips. We rode from Boise to Challis back in 2015. Went trough Stanley. Rode about 350 miles that day. Great memories. Stayed the night in Challis at the NorthGate Inn Motel. Had to park the bikes and head to the only restaurant open before it closed. Thanks, Chris and Rich for taking me back there. 😊👍👍
We’ve had endless issues with SENA headset, we called the 800 toll free number and got a live person , operator # 13. Plus a bunch of emails. They’ve sent us an RMA to return our faulty set and will replace it with a “new” set!! Mine would randomly switch off, or have a static crackle.. still better than CARDO we had be be within 5 ft of each other to talk! Got a SENA 3S totally basic and it works great BUT way to basic for what you need. Good luck, just keep at it, hound them, it’s the only was you’ll get a replacement .. safe travels 💕
Great video. Wonderful country side to ride a motorcycle. You may want to check final drive on your road glide, stones could get between the pulley and the belt.
Thanks for cruising my favorite country and exposing some of the beautiful places I haven't been able to go yet. Love your content. Happy to see you loving it. Keep it real baby.
I have the same $20 chineseum junk windscreen add-on. I drilled small holes and used discarded rivet shanks to hold it. Bend them L shaped then put a small bow in it to add friction. You might want to look into MADSTAD windsheilds.I have one on my Vstrom and love it.
Quite an adventure. I'd call it the Ida/Alaska Ride, LOL. I grew up in Hailey, Idaho, and spent many summer days on the Yankee Fork. I was just on the Custer to Challis road a few weeks ago. Very nice video...
Might take a look at a new helmet. Schuberth C5 will be my next helmet and it has a "Plug and Play" retrofit of communication systems based on the Sena 50S with pre-installed HD speakers, mesh, FM radio, and Bluetooth antenna . I have the same helmet as you do Chris and for me its getting to be time to get a new one.
I had to figure that fuel for the dredge for a week. At $.02 cents a gal. It would have cost them $90 a week to operate and you said at that point they couldn’t afford to operate. Just for shits & giggles at today’s rough price of $5.50 a gal that would be now be $24,750 a week.
So Kool that your in Challis Idaho my brother lives there in the summer time..he just rolled out to AZ..he lives in a 5th wheel...with 4 motorcycles In the back..I don't have fb anymore or messenger 😕..I have talked to Richard about tank bags before...my brother loves riding the dirt..he works at the state park..how kool
Hey guys... another great video... just wondering if you all are encoding your videos at 40Mbs or higher? If you encode at 40Mbs or higher The resolution will look much better especially when moving on the bikes. Keep up the great work... love your channel.... :)
I Did at Least 5-8 Trip's Across America 😳 1980's & 1990's so many times I was just living a Dream , Then Came Bronson Michael Park's got me going to RIDE a 1971 Sportster Iron Head ! The last year & it was a Chopper Too LoL & I'm 17 yrs Old and a Highschool DUDE long Haired Having the time of my life 💀 WOW Up Hwy 1 in Californey USA !
Heys guys cool vid can I ask how do we get a couple of your stickers please we live in New Zealand and we would love to display Two Wheels big life on out bikes ....😊
Idaho is great, lived there for 10 years then moved to Maine. If you haven't ridden Maine, New Hampster and parts of Mass you haven't truly ridden. 109 to the 153 or the coast from Cape Porpoise and Pier 77 to Portsmouth Market Street. Kennebunkport to Plymouth. So many roads it would take months and years to ride them. The Kank too.
I've been riding a Harley Ultra Limited for about 5 years now, and I love the bike - but I keep finding myself on roads that turn to gravel/dirt and I want to keep exploring. Really considering trading the HD for something like a BMW GS. I know Rich has spent a lot of time on both - wondering how he would compare the GS to his Harley?
Have you considered mounting a GoPro on your helmet and running a mic from the camera into your helmet for the voice recording? I wonder if the Sena just isn't built for the demands that your type of motovlog requires. (shrug) Most other moto-vloggers that I follow have separate methods of recording audio from the video, or record direct to a helmet mounted GoPro.
Chris - Ideas on Recording... My plan is to record to a Tascam or similar recorder but you could plug into a GoPro (or similar) This video ua-cam.com/video/W1-uY381KQ0/v-deo.html explains the connections - you can find all the cables on Amazon - his links are EU - but just search for the same name on the US site.

I always say Harley's were originally ADV Bikes.
Stanley is a beautiful area, worked, hunted there most my life.
Just great 👍 you guys are living my dream. 💐 I explored a lot of this beautiful country but what you do is phenomenal 🇺🇸🏍️
Have safe rides and thanks for sharing 🙏🍀 hope to see you on the road 💐🥂😎
The new wind screens come with metal bolts and wing bits to address that problem
As always, thank you for the videos. I always look forward to them.
Thanks
I love watching y’all especially when I’m out on a ride and stop for a break.Keep going we love what you do.❤
Thanks! ✌🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Cheers Bernie
Like the tracking and traveling you show us almost like being where you are. Just turned 82.Ha! Have fun. Saw Custer in 1949-Were you born?
Thanks for the ride and video
Wife and I love us some Idaho! Best kept secret!
I so wish at the beginning of your videos, you announce where you are and time of year.
As always, I love all the story telling about the places where you are. Love the histories.
Thanks Edd
We miss you guys!
Beautiful
Rain at least the dust is down lol. Great adventure
Such pretty countryside. I think I'm thinking I should find someone to care for my dogs and head out on the highway. This has given the wanderlust.
It’s beautiful out west
You can do like I did. And buy a sidecar for the hounds. Love taking them with me. And they love it too.

I like your music … and your content !
Thanks
Wise decision to turn around. Enjoyed the video. Thanks.
Fastest half hour in the day! Keep up the good work.
Thanks.
Enjoyed the ride and history
Great story…appreciate the tenting…
Wow what a place to turn around 😅

It's been a few years, but the road to Hells Canyon dam was paved. One way in and out though.
Beautiful country! couple hills out there!!
Love Idaho, one of the places where gravel roads are still more prevalent than paved …
🙏🙏
great adventure, cheers
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks Dave
nicely produced again.
Awesome videos and commentary! I can’t imagine the amount of editing it takes to produce these videos, but the final product makes it all worth it! Thank you again, happy trails ❤

I haven’t seen you off in a while. I miss y’all.
Great show thank you both for showing have fun and be safe .
I've been using this for a while now, I like it better than the Sena...Kenwood KCA-HX7C

Was out there in the end if July followed the salmon river for a long time

As always awesome content!!
Thanks Cash
Wow yall. Some of those roads look sketchy. Ride safe.
I sure enjoy your sound tracks as you ride! Anther superior video!
I have the same cheap ($15 on Amazon) windscreen extension and I have to check it frequently to keep it from failing apart.
Love your videos.
Great video. Wonderful country side to ride a motorcycle. You may want to check final drive on your road glide, stones could get between the pulley and the belt.
cardo is lite years ahead of senna ,we got tired of fixing them.
Interesting
Always remember to have fun first. Contact is needed to make a video, however have fun first. Still miss seeing Rich with the trailer
Thanks for cruising my favorite country and exposing some of the beautiful places I haven't been able to go yet. Love your content. Happy to see you loving it. Keep it real baby.
I use the Cardo freecom plus , take a look at them.
I like that highway you was on...The river next to the river so pretty..I use to cut across when I had time....i Idaho to Central Washington...
I have the same $20 chineseum junk windscreen add-on. I drilled small holes and used discarded rivet shanks to hold it. Bend them L shaped then put a small bow in it to add friction. You might want to look into MADSTAD windsheilds.I have one on my Vstrom and love it.
I love this area of Idaho, I camped there as a boy in the 50's & 60's with my family.
Thanks for the video!
an earlier way to achieve that is with a heat gun to flair the windshield itself. its just proto plastic so you can shape it anyway you want.
Many great places. Good roads, usually, too. Out of Coeur d Alene, North Fork area.
I love you videos! I felt like I was there when you were having to turn the bikes around!
Beautiful ride along the river!
Yea well snows coming .
Quite an adventure. I'd call it the Ida/Alaska Ride, LOL. I grew up in Hailey, Idaho, and spent many summer days on the Yankee Fork. I was just on the Custer to Challis road a few weeks ago. Very nice video...
Hey guys!! Thanks for another great video. We use Cardo with zero issues.
The audio is really good IMO.
Thanks. Do you know if they have an SD card or a way to record our conversations
@@TwoWheelsBigLife If I would have waited the few seconds before answering I would've heard your need for an SD card. Couldn't tell you. Sorry.
lookin good..if youre ever out west, Oregon. Give us a shout..
Might take a look at a new helmet. I have the same helmet as you do Chris and for me its getting to be time to get a new one.
beware the Schuberth has less ventilation compared to the Shoei Neotech II. This may or may not be a big deal depending on your preferences.

I think they actually clip the fin of the salmon so you know which ones you can keep. It takes less time and effort than putting on tags
I feel your pain on the quality control, my BMW NAV VI has been replaced 3 times
Miss Alice doesn’t look half as dirty as the triumph, practical mudguards?
So Kool that your in Challis Idaho my brother lives there in the summer time..he just rolled out to AZ..he lives in a 5th wheel...with 4 motorcycles In the back..I don't have fb anymore or messenger 😕..I have talked to Richard about tank bags before...my brother loves riding the dirt..he works at the state park..how kool
Good dirt on bikes kinda reminds me of Dolly Sods wilderness area on a 1 week old 2020 limited..I love watching...
West Virginia
let's get cris a new windshield, clockworks has a flair built-in.
CHALLIS......WAS GREAT PIZZA SHOP DOWNTOWN....THAT WAS 30 YRS AGO....LOL..
Please do a review on your new tent. Thank you.
Coming soon!
Sena 😂. I had same problems.
I bought a cheap helmet intercom off of eBay for $75. Been using for years no problems. It doesn't have an SD card but perhaps they have one that does
Look into sena momentum helmet !
Look at Cardo Packtalk... much better system
Hey guys... another great video... just wondering if you all are encoding your videos at 40Mbs or higher? If you encode at 40Mbs or higher The resolution will look much better especially when moving on the bikes. Keep up the great work... love your channel.... :)
I will check. I’ve just been using defaults. Thanks for the tip.
#1 Let's Go!
I really like my Cardo units
do they have a way of recording the audio?
Deciding to stay the course on the dirt road, remember this "WWIBD". What Would Itchy Boots Do?
What boots do you wear?

Hope you are able to find some helmet cameras that are durable.
So what’s up with “home base” rig? Going back to it for the winter?
Yes we are.
How do you mount the GoPro.. to the handle bar
Ram mounts
Cardo Packtalk 🤷♀️
So, Sena cameras are a no go?
We really like the Sena but the customer service is poor
Did they tell you about recovery of gold from the mercury?
See U Two where here when u guy’s R
Ride that blacktop Ride
How often do you wash your bikes...every week, once a month or never?! 😄🇿🇦👍
Becareful don't plug the devices in until your ready to ride. Long ride
Cardo?

Yes I have. But have run into problems with the audio. it's best to record directly onto an SD card from my experience

This has to be old it’s cold in Idaho most bikers are South by now.
Think it's a replay?
The videos run a few months behind real time
