I’d never seen Archie in anything else before and I was really impressed by him. Manages to do the super charming British thing without veering into cringe.
As much as I love romcoms, I legit cannot watch some of them any more because I get way too stressed about the lying/miscommunication plots. Like I know everything is gonna work out in the end but I came here for cliche romance and cheesy dialogue, I do not need the extra stress!
A rom-com with Archie... We're all self-inserting 💕 This is how the entire romance genre gets away with it. A ridiculously hot man that has and GIVES that look 🙈
I liked their back and forth and how good they look together, but Anna's lies made me really uncomfortable as well as the fact that when she apologizes it felt like she wasn't really sorry ??? But still, they're super hot together so I'm trying to overlook it
Honestly my biggest problem with the couple's dynamic was that he told her how he felt about ppl using him and all she does is ask for favors constantly and gives nothing in return🙃 throughout most of the movie her relationship is better with his mom and when she confeses and apologizes about lying, she went to his mom FIRST

He reminds me of the mmc character in what a girl wants. Same reaction to initial lies chaos is def on the horizon and I want her to avoid it 😞 The mom was something else 😂
Are you going to look over the new bridgerton content at all or are we starved a bridgerton reaction till the season drops 😭😭 I am dying to see your opinion on the new stills and clip
Wow I was completely on her side when he shows up to her job unannounced. So inappropriate, she told you she's busy and that she's not supposed to be seen talking to the family so don't know why he thought that was okay. And she's right that he's screwing over her career (even if she's CEO, she needs the sale) and that he doesn't need to worry about a job. Also at the end of the movie, when he's like "I would've liked you if I knew the truth from the beginning" is such a lie bc in the lunch scene he's literally like "it's such a relief that you're rich I don't fw poor people" lmao He was so gd annoying and privileged. Even when he thought she was in charge, she would've been self made and worked her way up and he's been handed everything his whole life and sees no problem fucking over her job. I was so surprised to see the opposite reaction lol I was like "dude she's right you hate poor people and you suck"
Why'd this film reward the main character with everything she wanted in the end? She started lying the moment she got off the plane... wait, she was even lying ON the plane! Impersonated her boss, was using the guy who liked her, and using his mother to get what she wanted. Then when everyone found out they all agreed to still work with her with zero backlash, she gets a gallery and the guy travels all the way to NYC to see her again? What was the lesson? Become a pathological liar and you'll get everything you've ever dreamed of?
In that case, I should try watching it again. Because I could not get past the first 5 minutes on the first attempt because the female lead was so entitled and annoying. She was mooching off her sister's couch, overstaying her welcome by several months. Showed zero gratitude and instead was arguing with her sister's boyfriend who's home it was and who was pointing out the obvious. No apology, no remorse. She just puts down his home that she is staying in... 🤮 Then she gets her friend at work in trouble with her and again. No sincere remorse... Just oh, pity me... I can't go into the Auction and have to hand out pamphlets instead. All me, me, me!
Nah, I love Archie and Camilla, but I really really REALLY didn’t like this movie, and I love Vampire Academy, so I clearly love trash. But this just wasn’t giving me anything 😭
Oh God I’m glad someone else sees this. I swear his mum flirted with Anna more than he did 😄
Thank you!!!! I thought I was the only one thinking that lead had more of a vibe with her love interest's MOM than him!!!
I’d never seen Archie in anything else before and I was really impressed by him. Manages to do the super charming British thing without veering into cringe.
the "get a grip!!!" to flustered over a rom-com is so relatable
As much as I love romcoms, I legit cannot watch some of them any more because I get way too stressed about the lying/miscommunication plots. Like I know everything is gonna work out in the end but I came here for cliche romance and cheesy dialogue, I do not need the extra stress!
Archie Renaux as eye candy, with a bit of Cocteau Twins for the montage...love it 💖!!
This movie was so fun! When you blurted out "I'm so lonely" when they kissed, girl I felt that in my bones😅 😂
A rom-com with Archie... We're all self-inserting 💕 This is how the entire romance genre gets away with it. A ridiculously hot man that has and GIVES that look 🙈

yeah, exactly@@gabbystorm3992
'I'm never NOT in the mood for a rom-com.' Same, girl. Same.
They had good chemistry! And I chuckled at the script a few times lol
your outro is crazy... AND SO REAL! like... i lived through the second hand embarrassment for what?
IM SCREAMING! I was watching this last week and I had the SAME reaction! we truly are in the trenches for this men
Okay, I feel you, but The Other Zoey is so cute even though Archie’s character isn’t who I expected lol it’s silly but sweet
This is crazy I just randomly watched this last night

we love a good rom-com that let's us live in the delusion aka shouting "my man" at the screen 😅
He’s so gorgeous

same. I feel like there wasn't really a chemistry between the two and it was inevitably that I'd affect the movie
