- I bought a wrecked Mclaren 720s from Amsterdam & then took it back to the UK. I decided to reveal the car at a car show before taking it back to my unit to begin working on it. But its worse than i thought.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t going to watch it as I’ve seen the Mc on the other Chanel and the tattoo Chanel, but, while I was waiting for my pasta to cook, I did indeed watch it. And…loved it. Great mix of content, different vibe, awesome.

Freddy (@tavarish) did a full engine rebuild. Based on the issues highlighted from his vid, would definitely suggest at least the rods. It seems to be a serious weakness that could turn into a new engine later on if not addressed. This especially since we know you love to do a remap and push the cars after the repairs! Love your content, do keep it up!

Awesome video Mat, love the van and how you always push yourself to the limit, no one else would have taken on that McLaren. However no one else would have done their research into it and found that a new tub is relatively cheap. The 720s is just a phenomenal car (when they work) I don’t think there is a better supercar out there for the money (like I said when they work) if you speak to any McLaren owner they will say when reliable nothing comes close to performance handling and comfort. With the fact you are rebuilding it from the ground up, hopefully you can remove those gremlins, in which case you will have IMO the best supercar bang for buck. Smashing it as always Mat. I'm not a big fan of Vdubs and I've never seen this VW van before (cuz I'm in u.s.) but this is now my fav VW and it's stick how awesome. Bouta Google the specs once u say what kind of VW it is or put the camera on the back and it looks like neither happened so I'm clueless as to what kind of VW this cool van is lol, guess I'll try a reverse image search. O finally I saw that it says Transporter on the front of the fenders when u got it home and you said that it was a Transporter earlier in the video but I didn't realize that was actually the model name rofflmao 😂. That's like my new fav minivan but it's like not mini, it's like a minimidvan or a midvan 😆. Out of all modern vans that's like the best one to buy for the Mrs. to drive the kids around and bang gears 😂. AWD 200bhp, it's perfect and looks just right. Good smart buy especially since she wanted a van, that was like the best possible choice. Shoulda showed her ripping gears 😆

actually getting the manual version is kinda better in some ways because the auto box on the 2.0 tdi in the t6s has a weird jolty toque at the begining of the revs that come in sudenly at like 2000 rpm so its hard to acelerate fast without snaping your neck ( well , not really but it is quite a big jolt)
