Are there scholarships for people returning to college/university to reskill themselves after working for some time? What about if you already have a bachelors but are making a career change?
Absolutely! If you have a local workforce development agency (it may be titled something different in your area, depending on your state), you may want to start there to see if they have any grants available for returning to school or pursuing a bit of a career change. Typically the grants may specify that you just have to work in a certain area for a certain length of time, but it's worth pursuing. Also, check out the financial aid office at the school you are looking to attend - they may have scholarships/grants available as well you can apply for!
@TheScholarshipSystem Hi there, is it too late to apply for scholarships after you graduate from Highschool, class of 2023. I finished a semester of college, although I had to withdrew from 2 classes for personal reasons.
When you said to find scholarships, build the list, write the essays, you then said to go ahead and submit the applications. We you referring to being admitted to a college/university? What if the deadline for submitting some of those applications has already passed? Also, so what if, after being admitted, the student is not rewarded the scholarships for that college/university?
College admissions is a separate process than scholarship applications. Most scholarships applications don't require students to be admitted at the time of the deadline. It will depend on the organization.
Most scholarships can be used at any college/university UNLESS it is specific to a certain type of school such as vocational school, community college, or in-state school.

If the deadline has passed you may have to wait until the following year when it is offered again.
