Quote from New Life newsletter: How Do You Get Out of a Rut? Once he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you as well as to me. Philemon 1:11 When you find yourself in a rut, make yourself useful. Fold the laundry. Clean out the files. Take the trash out. Walk the dog. Join a committee. Mentor a young person. Do something that will make a positive difference. It can be a small something or a big something. The important thing is -- do something useful. When you do, great things happen. Your mind becomes positively engaged. Your self-esteem begins to rise. Your confidence increases. Your sense of worth grows stronger. And you end up truly accomplishing something of value. It all creates a powerful, positive momentum. What can you do, right now, to truly make yourself useful? The choices are all around you. Imagine how sincerely great it will make you feel. Rather than just looking busy, give yourself a real boost. Find a way to be truly useful. Father in heaven, thank You that just because we are in a Rut, it doesn’t mean we have to stay there. Show us what we can be doing today that’s useful. We choose to do something positive instead of nothing, to be useless no more. In Jesus name, AMEN! Get out of your rut and into the groove.
Can you talk about free porting? Under what circumstance is it ok and does that saw free port on the exhaust at all? Last one i built was close with .008" off the base
Quote from New Life newsletter: The Power of Repeating Small Efforts Blessed and fortunate are your people, how blessed and fortunate are these servants of yours who stand before you continually and hear your wisdom! 2 Chronicles 9:7 A large single effort can rarely match the power and influence of a small effort that is repeated over and over again. The more you repeat your thoughts and actions, the stronger they become. Even the smallest effort, if it is performed consistently for a long enough time, can make an enormous difference. Lasting success and achievement are built one step at a time, over time -- not in a one-shot attempt. If you desire to win big, then the surest way to do it is to win little, over and over again. If you think you’re short on resources, or skill, or opportunity, think again. Do what you can, with what you have, as often as you can. Though the single efforts may be small, they add up to an enormous influence. Make time your friend. Make time work for you by using it to multiply your effectiveness. Keep going. Keep working. Keep making the effort, again and again. Keep it up for as long as necessary and you’ll get exactly where you wish to go. Father in heaven, it’s been said that it isn’t the last strike of the hammer that breaks the rock, but rather all of them. Help us to be diligent and faithful in the little things we repeat every day, knowing together they will make a big difference! In Jesus name, AMEN! Continuous effort not strength or intelligence is the key to unlocking our potential.

Quote from New Life newsletter: Getting Comfortable with Discomfort Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. James 1:2 When you meet a new person the relationship is a bit awkward at first. Over time, you become comfortable with each other, and the relationship can blossom into something of great value. Yet I wonder how many relationships never even get a chance because they are so uncomfortable at the beginning. Meeting new people, learning new skills, presenting your ideas, taking risks -- all these things can be very uncomfortable at first. After a while, though, that discomfort disappears and you’re left with something very valuable such as a relationship, a skill, an influence, or an accomplishment. When you have the courage to step outside your comfort zone, then you begin to create new value for your life. On top of that, your comfort zone expands. Sure, new things are a little uncomfortable. Yet that little bit of discomfort will soon pay big dividends. Endure a little discomfort. Meet new people, learn new skills, take some calculated and intelligent risks. A little discomfort won’t hurt you and can bring you big rewards. Father in heaven, naturally we try to avoid being uncomfortable, seeking what is easy and comfortable, but if this is all we ever do we will never grow or improve. Though we don’t want to, help us to grow comfortable with being uncomfortable. Stretch us, help us and grow us into who You need us to be to reach a sin sick and dying world. In Jesus name, AMEN! We need to be comfortable with discomfort in order to grow.
Is this going to be a once in a blue moon saw or most weekends? I am not a fan of the K&N style filter like your second option. They do not filter out the fines, and need to be cleaned daily and that with a sealed dust free environment. Definitely go the red foam filter. Far more surface area for filtration and airflow.
May God Bless and Protect you and your loving family, Bellhopper:)
Excellent Mr. Hopper 👍
You know I like Echo saws.
Looks like a nice quality cylinder
Looks the big red honker would work , real nice
I like the red one, and can you make two adapters just asking for a friend 😅😅😅
Run the oiled filter a can't believe how much u just took out of that ex port and the uppers. Can't wait to see how it runs in the cut
Looks like another start of a good saw build. Good Job Hopper. Keep up the good videos.

Hello Hopper
Red matches
Your going to get oil all over the handle with red I like the cone
Shiny looks better red probably more practical.
Red filter would be easier
What filter is that?
Red
Shinny
Shiny please
I’m gonna go ahead and say the shiny one because you’d probably build a bad ass velocity stack to go with it good job
Shiny is better .
