    I'm somewhat of a beginner & had to unravel mine 4 times....stretch my work apart to see what you mean by the "3rd loop".... thank you very much for the video, HOWEVER, it's would be so helpful for you to re-film this, showing the 3rd loop in detail.
    But the pattern is beautiful, so again, thank you😊

    Gracias por tu generosidad. Es un trabajo realmente muy bonito y que nunca antes había visto. Sólo quisiera hacer una observación. Yo no hablo tu idioma, por tanto no entiendo tus comentarios, entonces, para mí, sería de gran ayuda que pusieras en pantalla el número de puntadas y el tipo de puntada que usas cada vez y tal vez, tejer un poco más lento, para poder ver bien lo que haces, ya que no entiendo tus explicaciones.. De todos modos gracias otra vez, por tu generosidad, es un granny realmente muy hermoso y diferente a todos los que veo.

    Hi Megan,
    I’m working on this square now using the video and the written instructions. I agree with others that a stitch count at the end of each row would be extremely helpful especially because the stitch counts on the written instructions are off. Round 2 has 24 stitches and round 3 says 36 but that’s not possible if I’m placing 2 stitches in one and skipping one. I’m only using 12 stitches with 2 stitches each, that’s 24. I even paused the video and counted what you had…24 stitches. It’s frustrating because I have to figure out how many stitches the next rounds are supposed to contain and I don’t know if I should follow the video or the written and ignore the counts. ☹️

    • @MeghanMakesDo
      @MeghanMakesDo  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Stephanie, thank you for the feedback. I’ll keep that suggestion in mind when making future videos. Unfortunately once a video is uploaded it is not able to be edited. I’ll take a closer look at the written vs video tomorrow. As far as Round 3, there is a ch 1 in between each set of 2dc. Those ch sts are included in the stitch counts at the end.

    • @pierced05
      @pierced05 2 роки тому +1

      @@MeghanMakesDo Thanks for clarifying, I’ve done other patterns with chain stitches and they weren’t part of the stitch count because they weren’t used for stitch placement in the following rounds, the space held the stitch. Also turning chains weren’t counted as a stitch until farther in the pattern, I’m not a beginner but inconsistency may make things confusing for those who are.

      You could definitely give it a try, but it may throw the pattern repeats off a bit. You could easily add a few more rounds of single crochet or double crochets after the last round to get the size you want.

    Hi Megan, I am having difficulty following your work here as you do not stitch count at the end of each row. I am trying to stop the video and count stitches but on the all single crochet circle row (8th??) I had a massive amount of extra stitches. Now trying to follow your pattern from your website. You could slightly improve this video by including stitch counts at the end of each row. Having said that I appreciate your sharing this beautiful pattern with us and thank you. 😊

    I have been writing this Beautiful Creation pattern down through the whole video and I don't have any troubles with this at all. Granny square can be tricky to learn and I had to practice on Many of them until I was comfortable to try something new like this for me. I Am So Excited to see this completed. I do have 2 questions for you.
    Will I need to Block these each time I wash it?
    And, I want to use this beautiful square to create a Poncho, is there anything I can do to make it larger.?

    • @MeghanMakesDo
      @MeghanMakesDo  Рік тому

      So glad you are enjoying it. You may need to lay it flat to dry but over time you won't need to block it. Not sure how to make it larger unless you just keep repeating the last row. You could also make a bunch of squares and then seam them together to make a poncho. Hope that helps!

    Es un granny precioso, sin embargo las explicaciones son pésimas, tan sólo sirven para quien entiende el idioma, no es mi caso. Debería ir poniendo en pantalla algo que aclare los puntos que se van haciendo, si es que quieres que se entiendan en otros idiomas. Es obvio, que éste granny, sólo está explicado para quienes hablan igual que tú. Me siento muy frustrada por lo difícil que es seguirte. 🤷🤦🙆 Aún así, tengo que decir, que el granny me encanta, por su peculiaridad.
