I went to a few psychic shows for a laugh many years ago. To be honest if you take them, and they reactions they get our of their gullible audience members as comedy, they are actually geniuses. I've watched this, at least 20 times! Can't stop laughing at the absurd psychic reading and the psychic's desperation and Warwick's expressions and really wanting to believe in this guy. It got a pretty bad reception because a lot of critics felt it was exploiting people of limited height for comedic purposes (those critics either don't understand comedy, didn't watch the show, or are just plain stupid!).
I much prefer this to 'Derek', which I find way too schmaltzy and overly sentimental, like the situation-comedy has been replaced by situation-pathos.
It'd be great to have another season and a 2 part special of LTS, but I'm afraid it's unlikely ever to happen :'(

You should have recorded the conversation. Our memories and perception of things being said, specially when emotional, can be a little unreliable. So I doubt your interpretation of what happened is accurate, even though you may feel it went that way, it's perfectly possible you gave signals and helped them to know things that were said.
