Love the opening shots in this video. You can really tell that the printed rule book is of a really high quality. Also, thanks for working with me on the 24-hour challenge. It was a blast.
Helped out some friends putting out an indy RPG many years ago and there's nothing quite like cracking open that first copy of the book and smelling the paper and knowing your work is out there for people to enjoy. Great job and congratulations, Jeremy!
Jeremy I've never seen you this excited since you announced this project. Congratulations on a successful launch. Unfortunately I couldn't back it but I will pick it up when it's available to the public. Once again congratulations To you and your team I'm happy for you.
Today I introduced my husband to your channel and he picked this video to watch first. He is so pumped with the possibilities of things he can do in his gaming. I just thought you'd get a kick out of knowing you were a huge inspiration. Thanks for all you do and congratulations on your book.
It is always so cool to see a creator geek out on their work and while I'm not into the theme and setting, I can appreciate the beauty of the results. Congratulations on a job well done and on it's way to happy collectors.
That book is beautiful, Jeremy! It's super encouraging to see someone tackle a new thing for the first time and create such a high quality product. Are you planning any expansions for the game? Or maybe slingin' the IP over to an RPG setting, etc.?
The book looks Amazing! Watching this on a early Friday morning before work, seeing the build and hearing that upbeat music really got me pumped to build something similar this weekend
Wow. Your book and game look amazing. Not to mention how awesome your terrain looks. I've always been amazed with your ability to make foam look like stone. I really can't wait to have a game, and to see it gain the popularity it deserves. Great work, and thanks for sharing!
Slowly but surely this is becoming an Idols of Torment commercial channel. But you know what? I don't even mind (that much) thanks to the sheer amount of value your builds/tutorials give.
Jeremy, my dude! I'm glad you're feeling better and that your vision has come to fruition! This is just the beginning for Idols of Torment and I can't wait to see where it is five years from now! Congrats, man!
I had no idea you've been working on all this! What an accomplishment, very happy you've been able to produce such a cool set of products that are undeniably unique from the rest.
Congratulations on the completion of your book, brother! I don’t think I’ve ever seen you so happy and enthusiastic on a video. I love the build, also. - Rick, USMC
AMOBT "Always Mock Up Before Texturing" OK, I just made that up, but it's now written on my foam texturing toolbox. I always learn something useful from these vids because you include mistakes with the successes. Thanks again!
The sheer happy vibes at 08:32 had me bopping out like a little workshop gremlin. Loving this build, and congrats on your dream becoming reality after so much hard work and thought and effort! Hope your back is getting better too.
Everything about the project is just gorgeous. I am sad I didn't have a chance to back it with life. So glad for its success so far and looking forward to more in your future. Thanks for being such an inspiring maker.
Congrats on publication of your rules! That is indeed a culmination of what is obviously a lot of work. Great video and the new pastel product is something I will be on the lookout for.
As soon as you revealed the PanPastels, I was immediately reminded of the stack of old makeup compacts I have on my hobby desk that I've been meaning to try as pigments... I'm guessing the pastels will go on a little better, but now I want to get some to compare...
I know your channels tends to focus on builds that are easy for others to copy, but I think it would be interesting to see you make a really detailed building for once, with all the flying butresses and gothic tracery, stained glass, cornices, gargoles, the full works!
Damn...that's a friggin' purty-ass book right there! Congratulations on building up (and keeping) a great community going that could support such an endeavor. Happy for you guys 😀
I'm working on building my first set of terrain.... a keep. I've definitely learned only having 1 inch foam makes things a little more difficult because you have to cut and put together so many more pieces. And cutting with a knife sucks! I'm hoping I can get the hot wire table on sale for black Friday. Awesome videos! I wouldn't have any idea where to start without them.
possible shortcut to the grout line, make a wire mesh of some kind, out of a metal that's sturdy enough to keep a squared shape, but also thin enough to be a grout line, then just heat the thing on the BBQ for like 2 mins, press it onto the foam sheet, and you should get a slightly melted outline with whatever grid pattern you cut the mesh too. Depends a bit on the materials you're using and you'd need to be super careful about how you place it, not to mention not burning yourself, but I think it could work.
A cool build! I've seen some folks who paint larger figures and busts use Pan Pastels for details and colors they would normally glaze or airbrush. Been tempted to buy a few myself.
I had to laugh because every fine artist I've watched start working with pan pastels has the exact same "these are awesome" reaction. Truly a versatile product to get that reaction from people who work in so many different media!
The 'freestyling' you said is hard to describe is my primary method of crafting, and I would argue most people who push through do to some extent as well. Add and see what you get. Maybe next project during the freestyling, take some specific notes on your thoughts during each piece, that might help put more words to the concept at the moment. This one looks excellent, couldn't have guessed any of it was freestyled unless you told us. Greta work as always.
Your best video yet! The build: Awesome!! Your excitement and enthusiasm: contagious! Even the sponsor: badass! Love your content and excited to get my copy of IOT.
Have you ever tried mixing up a bucket or tub of black paint and water to dip the whole project in at once to speed up that step of coverage? Awesome build!
I just love the work you do. you have been such a great inspiration for all the crafting i do🙏🏽. Just keep up the good work, and congrats on the book 💕
Wow, loved this. The intro and project reminded me of "Clash of the Titans," the original one with Harry Hamlin as Perseus, and not just from the Medusa head. I would love to use this in a game. Well done!
The first thing I noticed about this was the incredible paint job -- I'm going to have to try pan pastels myself someday. Also, congratulations on the game publication!
This game looks so cool and interesting. The amount of creativity, passion, and work that must’ve went into it is mind blowing. (Side note: the way the hotwire table cuts is so damn satisfying.)
Amazing video! Ahhhh....so relaxing watching a foam build. And it looks fantastic! And congrats again on getting that game done! The book looks awesome! Can't wait to get my physical copy (and my deck of cards! Lol!) :)
Fantastic to see you come so far. Seeing that book on that shelf is honestly a dream come true for you, congratulations. Can't wait to try this game out.
Idols of Torment miniatures on MMF are disgustingly Badass, The Vile and The Hollow are super awesome. Im gona buy the Get Started Bundle and Idols Full Bundle on payday.
Great stuff Jeremy congrats on thr game book and all the hardworking you guys have put into it amazing. Oh an fantastic build too... I want to find that new pastel stuff you are talking about and used at thr end
Your videos are soooo awesome, i really like them. And Your builds. You are awesome. Keep doing what youre doing! And congrats for finishing Your KS kampaign!
Jeremy, i dont wanna premote other channels... i would love you to team up with Atmoseeker, for some terrain... for fog machines or that interact with lights. You are my OG terrain Crafting Masters. I replicate all your stuff, i would love to see your mind at work with a fog machine terrain!!! ❤ Keep up the amazing work!
Not sure if you have done this already (I think you might...) but an interesting project could be to figure out how to create your own texture rolling pins I don't think it would be faster in this case by any means, but perhaps it could be very interesting for a video. I'd love to watch it! I wonder if you could use just plain milliput to create a base surface over any cylinder and then add the horizontal grout lines first (before the base hardens) and then figure out the spacing for the vertical ones, as long as they align horizontally you'd get a seamless organic effect, you could even go with a larger diameter to space out the same patterns, or try some sort of clay/silicon rubber if you feel it would be worth it I'm also wondering if by creating some very high/deep grout indentations on the cylinder, it would carve them deeper in the foam, in this case even if it really cut or damage the surface a bit, it could be beneficial to the final effect. Sorry, anyway I just wanted to share my thoughts! Loved the video, and grats again on the book!!!
Looks so good. I think destroying part of one of 2 of the statues would've given a more ancient vibe to it. Like it's so old the statues are starting to crumble and don't look fresh
First off Congrats man!! Such an accomplishment. And Love, love , love the build.... and on my to get list is the 3D printer should pay for itself in no time :) since I just got the foam cutter , what a game changer .. Love your video's and you are the one that got me into foam builds in the first place so thanks for that!
I'm very happy for you, it's obviously easy to see that you're totally passion about that project and you did it in a very professional way. Success well deserve! :)
Hey Jeremy, my son in interested in creating his own game. A video from you detailing some of the positive and negative experiences you’ve had producing Idols would be great!

That building montage was so amazing. The music made it fun to watch and felt so energetic. I could watch those for hours.
Here's my game about biblical torment... anyways.... upbeat 80's rocky montage! Loved it
Helped out some friends putting out an indy RPG many years ago and there's nothing quite like cracking open that first copy of the book and smelling the paper and knowing your work is out there for people to enjoy. Great job and congratulations, Jeremy!
Serious Congratulations, man! Publishing a book like that is no small feat!!!

Whoever did that opening voiceover is giving me some serious Christopher Lee LOTR vibes. Well done!
It is always so cool to see a creator geek out on their work and while I'm not into the theme and setting, I can appreciate the beauty of the results. Congratulations on a job well done and on it's way to happy collectors.

This is one of your epic builds! Look at how far you’ve come from your very first video! Your game book looks awesome! Amazing!
Congratulations on the completion of your book, brother! I don’t think I’ve ever seen you so happy and enthusiastic on a video. I love the build, also. - Rick, USMC
I've loved your content for years. Thank you for your service!
I dig the new vibe in this video. All the best to you and yours, Friend.

I absolutely love the music during the free-flow building montage, it's like the perfect 80's movie montage music!
The 80's vibe on that build montage was epic.
I know right, the music with the sped up cutting footage reminded me of old music videos lol
Basic usage of build techniques and an awesome result. That’s talent 👍🏻
Everything about the project is just gorgeous. I am sad I didn't have a chance to back it with life. So glad for its success so far and looking forward to more in your future. Thanks for being such an inspiring maker.
Congratulations on the new hard-copy!!
You should be proud.
Jeremy, that is one of my favorite builds you have ever done sir. It came out great, and congrats on the release of Idols of Torment!
The upbeat montage music is fantastic! I found myself bobbing along as you cut and fitted your walls together. Thanks for these great videos
Congrats on publication of your rules! That is indeed a culmination of what is obviously a lot of work. Great video and the new pastel product is something I will be on the lookout for.
It brings me great joy to see that you've finished your own game.
The 80’s montage music during the build was just perfect. 😎
Great 80’s “I will overcome any obstacle” movie vibe! 🤘
Awesome build Jeremy!!!! and congrats on the book, it looks great and must be nice to finally have a copy in your hands!!!
Thanks Dana

Congratulations Jeremy, so exciting. Loved the build too 😊
Awesome build!!! Love the idea of using pre-packaged pastel powders...my next purchase.
Can’t wait to get my copy and minis in. Need more play through videos of this fantastic game
Man, you should be proud of this accomplishment! The book looks awesome! And the free-form build rocks!
I'm working on building my first set of terrain.... a keep. Also, love the montage and music accompaniment!
Damn, this is worth the wait!! And I hope you’re feeling better
Great job Jeremy and well deserved pride in your achievement.
This build ended up looking FANTASTIC!
You know what this reminds me of? The old Playmobil castle walls.
Thanks for the unintentional nostalgia.

Following you for years now and am happy to see finally a good creation again :)
Good luck with your game!
All creations are good.

This turned out really well.
Congrats! This truly is an accomplishment. Appreciate the diy spirit and sharing so much of your process with the rest of us. Wonderful! ✌🏾➕✊🏾

Super proud of you for producing this game! I’m happy to have gotten in on the kickstarter and I’m jonesing for my book 😊
That type of building you where describing around the 7:30-8:30 point I think is best described as artistry with out engineering
I’m so freaking excited! I can’t wait to get my Idols stuff!
