- Red Skelton reprising several of his most beloved routines, including "Dunking Doughnuts" and (with Roberta Lubell)
his spoof of Michael Fokine's ballet Spectre of the Rose. Other highlights included Red's impersonation of a Gay '90s bachelor,
and his portrayal of eternally inebriated Willie Lump Lump in the classic "Upside Down Room" routine.
Absolutely Fantastic was Red Skeleton and his show!! John Wayne was an outstanding actor and it was fun to see him and Red work together!Thank you for sharing these great shows! Loads of fun!

You simply do not see any shows like this on TV anymore. I remember watching Red Skelton every Sunday night before bedtime which was the official close of the weekend and school the next day. I especially remember his Pledge of Allegiance skit which still pops up on social media and Facebook time to time.

The recording date was February, 1966…yet the original air date was in June, 1967!….over a year later!….what happened with that?

This video was named correctly, though. According to the IMDB, the name is "Red Skelton Scrapbook 66 - guest John Wayne (1966)" It also says, "Episode aired Mar 1, 1966."
So what's with the clapper board?
The copies I have are the last air dates which include the repeat air date. It might not be the original air date.
