  • There exist products that from day 1 you just never loved. They were unreliable. They broke too often. The parts were expensive or they were just too flimsy for their own good.
Then along comes one day and you FINALLY find something. ANYTHING. SOMETHING that replaces it and peace is restored in the universe again. There is just one last thing to do.
If the audio gets muted, it's O Fortuna. You aren't missing much. Just dub it with another tab or something.

I had thought for a moment you were going to go Office Space on that thermal printer. If that did happen, I would have seen a baseball bat instead of a hammer.

If I sent you a piece of unworthy unreliable electronics to smash, you'd probably decide to try and fix it.... ;)

Note validation machines. For some reason these are made with (and I mean there's almost no metal inside of these so it's entirely made from) an incredibly brittle kind of plastic that means they often break (or explode into small pieces if dropped) and the electronics are very, very unreliable for how much they cost. @@markpitts5194

@@CelGenStudios Kind of like IBM's late 1970s line of Electronic (Selectric) typewriters. The power module gears spider cracked and came apart. The nylon pulleys were pressed on so tightly they would split apart. R&D performed at the customer's expense.
