I have never had more problems with trying to wirelessly connect a device in my life
I was not able to pair mouse with the HyperPooling dongle until I updated mouse firmware to the newest one. After that it worked perfectly. Just remember you need the 'normal' usb dongle to make the update. Now it's all working :)

This one is still lacking. I have a basilisk Pro and the mouse doc Pro and they didn't say anything about the puck in this video
A lot of people seem to have issues with their original USB dongles, usually through contacting Razer support you can acquire a replacement dongle to update ur firmware in order to use the hyperpolling dongle.
Does anyone know if you can connect a Viper V2 Pro to the Mouse Dock Pro to utilize its 4khz polling? Its apparently under the compatible mice section but its not connecting

There goes my case with a viper v2 pro, whose normal dongle is dead
I couldn't get it any other way and it worked like this...
First, I updated the mouse firmware to the latest version
Second, I updated the hyperpolling firmware to the latest version
Third, I connected another mouse (a wireless one worked, via USB). Both mice can be connected at the same time
Fourth, I disconnected the cable from the Viper v2 pro (while still connected at the other end to a USB port) and connected it to the hyperpolling. The Viper LED keeps flashing white
Fifth, I opened the Razer Synapse app, with the OTHER mouse, and in addition to a tab dedicated to the viper, there was one for hyperpolling, there, in a section, is the synchronization option... and voila
Man, it took me two wires and constant plug in and out in order to make it work, since my death adder is not allowed to be connected to the other dongle, but also nit via usb to the PC, so I had no mouse in order to do the pairing hahahaha :D but it worked in the end! Thanks Razer!
anybody else having connection cut off with mouse dock? How do you fix? seems like a bug bc its my secind dock
could you use this with a console like ps5 or xbox, assuming i use razer synapse on my laptop to setup everything.
cant update the firmware on my v2 because the old dongle is broken, why cant yall just make it to where you can update the mouse through the wire

That took a while.
You have to have 2 usb-c cables. Quickly unplug your mouse after pressing ''select device'' in the pairing utility and then quickly hold down the button under your mouse and it should pair. (Viper V2 pro only has 1 button under the mouse.) You have to be really fast.

@@pastcipher5029 i plugged in the hyperpolling dongle and just plugged another usb c into my mouse. Had to unplug the mouse tho after I click calibrate/setup

Thank you! kind of pathetic that Razer leaves out instructions from the packaging, after googing it points you to a this, a video produced by Razer with dated profucts, and yet it still does not provide any actionable help! You have to dig into the a comment section filled with furious customers who are unable to get it to work until you finally come across a customer who exprimented enough to figure out the actual answer. AND that's the person who helps everyone not Razer.... smh

I used the USB that came with my Black Widow v3 Mini Keyboard. YOU CAN CONNECT (ADD DEVICE) WITH THAT 2.4 BW v3 Mini USB! Just use both keyboard and mouse on that specific one.
I don't know why this dongle wont work or the USB/Dongle that comes with the Viper V2 wont work.

This is Michael. Truth is, Razor has always ( I'm talking over 10 years so I've given up on them.) But the Basilisk Pro mouse is the best on the market, and the mouse dock pro with a 4000 pulling rate is also the best charging solution . So I had to get them. I wish Corsair made them.
Nothing ever works the way it's supposed to with Razer . Their software Developers make things complicated and there are always problems.
Why all this nonsense? And why do we have to sign in and make an account to use this very expensive Hardware that we paid for?!

Edit: so those having difficulty connecting the dongle to the mouse I used a second mouse to click on “pair” and it worked hope this helps someone

For Viper v2 Pro owners that are having trouble pairing to their hyperpolling dongle, what I had to do was update my mouse firmware before the pairing utility could recognize the mouse.
This kinda scares me ngl cuz i was planning on buying this to replace the broken dongle that came with my viper v2 pro but i cant update my mouse firmware Because of the broken dongle. Hmm

@@SayImPro Check my other comment, hit up Razer support and open a request, you should be able to get a replacement dongle that may or may not eventually come. I got lucky and got the hyperpolling dongle and it just worked with my V2 Pro as I updated my firmware BEFORE my dongle bricked.

I had the Basilisk Ultimate with dock, no issues with the lighting but the charging is terrible, have to adjust the position every time to get it start charging. So when I see the new Basilisk V3Pro I decided to upgrade. Yet again, this time got this RGB wont turn off while PC shut down problem!! As i saw the in the fourm, this been happeing over 9 months. WTF razer, we are paying top dollars for this flagship mice, and you guys still dont wanna fix this issue, so disappointing.

You honestly know you've made a terrible setup for your product when the user needs ANOTHER of the product they've gotten to be able to setup your product, it's like selling a pair of scissors in a package you need scissors to open.

You can only use the Viper V2 Pro Deathadder V3 Pro and Basilisk V3 Pro those are the only mice you can use it with

RAZER = SCAM.
My 2000€ Razer blade's battery physically doubled in size after two years of use. Shame on you Razer. Also, my 4k touchscreen panel can't take more than 50% brightness on w10 without flickering, the touchpad literally broke because of the swollen battery, the keyboard's chroma colors flicker randomly, the webcam and microphone are simply dead, and the customer support is shamelessly inefficient.

razer software is such garbage.. it is baffling
Synapse doesn't work for me. Eventually solved the problem myself. If you're having this issue, search 'Razer USB HyperSpeed Dongle Utility Answer ID: 6076', you don't have to use Synapse
