@@astritdestani7982 that cost a lot of $
From what I read, the real big difference is gel won't let you "re-form" your hair throughout the day. Clay will allow you to re-style your hair or fix it with your hands when your not at home. I guess experimenting is the best way to test it.
I know this video is a year old but soon as he started working the clay in DUDE WHAT A DIFFERENCE LIKE OMG 😱
Really nice!!
Some pomades also cause the same effect as gel. Greasy, wet and shiny look.
It’s clay
@@c1jsand most of them have vaseline in them so they are just grease
Oh wow I didn't know Finn Balor goes to you too. Props.
Lmao
I was waiting to see him mess up his hair and receive a coup de grace lmao
@@savagestingy1450 haha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When I warm up hair clay, is it supposed to be smooth on my hands? Because I warm it up in my hands but if I do it for a while, my hands get sticky and hard to rub.
Should get a different product.
The model is so cute!
Hell yes!!!
yo r u gay
Gay alert!
So what if he's gay 🤔
I’ve binged some of your older videos and your an awesome barber/stylist. I need a new stylist and I’m terrified of trying someone new, wish you were feasible for me to get to. Very impressive work bro, keep up the dope cuts
Thanks. Glad you've enjoyed the videos! What's your favourite?
Regal Gentleman I haven’t seen one bad cut since, but the best might be the one with the client trying to fix the undercut with long hair. The fade you were able to give him and still keeping the length looked super cool
Horrible Haircut
Artist ✨✨Loving his work
Just booked myself in to see Dan at the Cutthroatpete Jamaica St store Liverpool !!!!
Great! Enjoy it!
Yes. I was under the impression Dan only operated in London, u till I saw a previous post, on one of your videos stating that he is also currently based in Liverpool.
Thank you for the tut
Hello I just don't understand what I should take now if I don't have that thick hair. Clay? Wax? matte paste? Can you please recommend a product for me? (I have very thin and flat hair).
What's the technique for applying? Lightly rub in with palms? A step by step guide would be awesome
He literally does the tutorial in the video..
AG Style Stucco…LOVE the stuff
Are these products good for your hair does your hair starts to fall off of using products?
Hi. I used to use Revlon "Creator Matt Clay" a lot. However Revlon has discontinued it and its replacement is called "Matt Clay" (its a pink jar now). But the formula is completely different and now it feels weak and as generic as any other hair clay. What I really liked about it was that it left my hair with a "dry and sandy like" sensation with texture and a good hold from the moment I applied it to my hair, even if it was damp. Its been years now and I cant find a similar replacement. I have tried products like Calymation and Baxter Clay Pomade, but all of them feel smooth and more wet. Does anyone have any similar product suggestions?
I know what you mean about the sandy like texture. Try Sexy Hair Matte Clay. Brand has been around for over a decade, is super reliable and I use it everyday.
Wtf these companies stop making them same as joico spiker hair gule they don't make it anymore 😡
I brought this product and had really high hopes for it. However having used it a few times I was left very very disappointed. The product is completely unmanageable, it does not dissolve in your hands when warming it up. When applying it to my hair it remained like a thick white paste and was so unmanageable that it turned my hair white and was very hard to wash out. A complete waste of money.
What was the product called?
da hell u talking about homie
@@chickennuggets1837it is true. clay is the worst. Just use cream or pomade
The best u tube channel for hairstyle...no 1
Thank you!!
Don't they both cause hair loss if you constantly use them or cause hair damage. I know this guy back in school always used gel, he has a lot of grey hair now.
That doesn't seem to me a matte finish look... It's a bit shiny, ain't it?
Where cna I buy that hair product that he used on the customer's hair thank you
I can't use clay or paste as they break my scalp out too much so I have to use clean rinse gel
No matter how little I use, if I use hair clay or wax, it seems to melt down my face and turn me into a greasy faced mess. Some times if I use very little by the end of the day my hair has almost no trace of it, because it all run downwards as I’ve been running around at work. Any tips/ideas what’s happening? I’ve got a hunch that prestylers cause it?
I’ve done a bit of testing this week. Reuzel hair tonic, layrite grooming spray, Aveda texture tonic and Black mist all ended up with the clay running down my face. Using no prestyler it stayed put. No greasy looking face, the style stayed in place, looked better and it seemed the product dried/set fully.
Stickmore Styling cream. Use like a dime size and only style with your finger tips. Less is best. Too much and you get too much product weighing your hair down or it'll look shiny.
Make sure to wash out all the oil in your hair.
mate this happens to me too, its so annoying
Anyone have advice on how to wash hair gel out if you use it daily? I use water to wash out my L’Oréal studio line hair gel but it still feels like it’s in my hair or my hairs dry ish and puffy, I have a fine hair texture
Shampoo
Yup! Nice thick hair even though it’s short… lucky dude. I got thin hair😢
Matte Paste, Putty or Clay 👍
Bought the RG clay based on Dan’s videos...I just find the clay incredibly hard...I can hardly get any out of the jar. Watching this video again it seems that it’s a little softer than mine. Maybe I got a bad batch?
Try wetting your hand first or heating it up?
Maybe try keeping it at room temperature. It got cold the other day and left it without the top on and then it turned from white to yellow and got really tough.
Correct subtitles, please.
Starting to use clay, just wanted to know if he was going to use a bit of water or not. Used to do wax, needed a little water always, damp hair after shower. Thanks for the vid, helpful
My hair gets curly and can never get it to stand like this even with mat wax. How do i get it to be like this gentleman’s hair cut? Thanks
Agreed about HairShark, that makes my hair so thick
My problem with applying product Is I style as applying, basically just laziness makes good products look bad
I want to try achieve that style. What paste did you use? I need to find the equivalent in south Africa. I'm also going for the high fade messy top look.
Do you recommend a paste or clay?
Well.. The paste is at the end of the video actually. I think it's a clay.
would it work if you like to spike up the front but keep the back going forwards?
What is the name of that man’s haircut I need it!
I struggle applying product like a shampoo, I have my fringe coming down to my eye brow, how should I apply product for best results and hold
Does this product have a strong hold
He has great hair
Hey what do you used on your hair ?
that’s a clean fade ! what number# is on top?? or did u just trim with scissors ✂️??
Trimmed with scissors. You can watch the full video of the haircut on our channel!
@@RegalGentleman Very nice haircut, I tried finding the haircut video but can't find it... I do remember it was uploaded. I was going to show it to my barber hoping he could copy this amazing haircut.

that would be more of genetics not from gel lol
No evidence to suggest hair products cause hair loss. The majority of products we use today aren't absorbed by the scalp, which means that hair loss won't be a problem! Most hair loss is from male pattern baldness which is purely genetic!
@@RegalGentleman Oh okay. Apart from hair loss. I remember back when I was in school this guy had a lot of gray hair appearing on his scalp which war pretty weird. I did remember he had gel on his hair everyday since year 8 though lol.
Also some articles I've read say you should always wash your hair before you go to sleep if you use clay or gel. Wouldn't that mean they are generally bad for you? Since they are full of chemicals.
@@chechanrevolution992 everything is a chemical, it depends on what chemicals are in those products. If it doesn't cotain sulfates or parabens or other nasties, you're fine.
thank you
No problem. Glad you enjoyed it!
The guy in the chair getting a cut what's that type of haircut name
This guy has a skin fade hair style
Skin fade textured quiff I’d say
What’s the clay called

The dandimen clay leaves your hair all white tho. I hate it
Make the look of Slade Wilson of Titans seasson 2
It's a cool look. We'll keep it in mind!
would this weigh down fine hair?
We've found it works great on all hair types! Adds some thickness to fine hair, but isn't heavy enough to weigh it down - just need to use a little!
I wouldn’t recommend a gel or anything shiny with Fine because it’s wet that it will make it thinner
whats the haircut name ?
A skin fade
