    Hi there, do you happen to know how long a set of ink lasts on average? for example, how many 17" x 25" (approx 2:3 aspect ratio) photo prints can you make? I'm trying to see how cost effective it is for my disability art program

      Honestly, this is quite a difficult question to answer as it really depends on the image, it's pixel density, the colours and of course the paper type you are using. The P900 uses larger ink cartidges than the P700 so you pay a bit more per cartidge, but it's much more cost effective per print. If you are doing that type of calculation, you also want to factor in some wastage, prints that were not 100% perfect at the first attempt. You will also find that you don't run out of all of the inks at once. This helpful review claims to have achived 100 prints before needing to replace one of the cartidges and then 180 prints before the next two blacks needed to be replaced. Hope this helps:

    my printer takes way longer to recognize the brand new orginal epson cartridge. i just see the refreshing logo spinning and spinning
