first I thought: ah right he did fusions so no problem without shards...but man how on earth is possible to complete fusions without shards? that's an excellent resource management!!

For the fact he's only pulled mystery shards for all the the fusion milestones is more insanity than I could take.

Fun fact: The initial reason I started the alt with this challenge was because I didn’t want to pull OP champs I didn’t have on my main.
Also it allowed me to build champs I would never build on my main.
How did you complete fusions/fragment summons for summon rush event? Just a boatload of mystery shards?

Yeah, boat loads, and hoarding fragment fusions, from daily login and DT. And like now Lydia. My goal is to have like 2k-3k tournament points before I’ll try a complete fusion, and at least 3k mystery shards.
I don’t really use the permanent fusion to gain speed. Relic Keeper need to grind the rares, prefer simple mindless 12-3. Void rares don’t give me enough points to keep those uncommons. And still waiting for rhazin rares. Don’t even have an epic double yet.
You can use Paragon to cheese floor 109 of the DT.
I have space in my clan if your interested mate! Brutal, NM, UMN down daily and we are onto Brutal Hydra but for requirements i only ask 60k in CvC and for people to be active

I know Blackeagle. We started the ultimate challenge together with a third player. I ended it once I got Arbiter. I hadn't seen any updates. Glad to see he took it all the way.

I tried the same almost 2 years ago. Lasted for 7 days. Those shards were too tempting.
I'm in a similar boat. 953 Ancients, 178 Void, 59 Sacred. I only use champions I earn from fusions, or given for free.

@@jimi0is0kiba maybefor you ;) Is no problem if you got luck in game ;) I know more persons with that numbers. If you not open the game but use what you got for start is ni problem to made those numbers
Very cool and impressive challenge. What we don't realize is that around 25% of the total champs in the game were fusion (7 leggos in the 1st year, then 10 champs 2nd year, 10 on 3rd year atc = total 47 leggos. A couple epics as well). I'm also f2p for 3+ years and only now I got some OP champs like Kymar and Warlord that might finally help me get into gold 1 in tag arena as it's brutally hard.
When he finishes his challenge it'd be nice to see that shard pull video

Honestly Lydia should help a ton with those Doom Tower waves. Dec def AND weaken on an aoe with buffs. Throw in Scyl for those stuns. Also Lydia is great vs the Tormin's auto revive
Beaten Raid? The only fun part is summoning. This person has lost Raid.
Yes, MTGJedi pulled shards for a guy who saved for a year, over 150 sacreds and a ton of void/ancient. Uploaded around New Years.
I just got my Ramantu and I thought about taking the same challenge recently and see how long does it take to reach the same goal. Unfortunately, there are some secret rooms which you can't complete without pulling shards. All the ones who ask for void champions, looks a bit dire with just the fusable ones. They even stopped putting void epics in traditional fusions.
Do it!!! Don’t get tempted by all that, it’s obviously not necessary to progress, just gotta earn it!
Haha I've been playing for a year and with all my shards pulled, I still can't touch the void rooms in DT Hard. Secret ribs are designed to give endgame accounts a reason to level champs that aren't very useful anywhere else.

Maybe this stage should run with permanent Stun/Provoke from Visix, Arix, Scyl and then Ronda as a DPS for blocking at least 1 Passive and UDK if 1 Passive Proc comes through

I've been thinking about doing this challenge just because I was curious how far you could get. I'm glad this guy already did it so I don't have to.
He's guaranteed two void legendaries if one of them is from a guaranteed legendary event, since it won't affect pity.

For doom tower he can try a super control team with helmuth schyl brago pythion and other provoker. I did it like that. With some stun sets on schyl or someone else who has aoe
Yeah, I liked CB’s suggestion with Lydia. The def down and weaken also allows for more dmg. Ronda was also a good suggestion, didn’t thought about that one. She also has that speed buff, as I need Arbiter right now to make sure everyone gets a turn in before the wave goes.

against Mortu-Macaab waves you have to use Paragon cheese strategy. A paragon lvl 30 max 40 with lots of resistance and spd. Manual fight.

Absolutely crazy commitment, accounts like this are the reason Plarium have all but stopped the guaranteed legendary events though. Playing it smart or "off meta" isnt something they want, which is a shame.

Yeah, because there is a wall growing right now. If you would plot the fusions I got, you’ll see the gap growing each fusion.
Pythion succeeded, because I had like 2.5k of tournament points ready from fragment fusions, like DT champs and daily login. The event becomes reachable this way.
If you really want to min max, I should also buy champs from the market place, as the mystery shards are becoming to valuable.

Yeah, with her passive. That is where those Skytouched buffs come in. Still need to be lucky tho
For the doom tower mortu waves I used a fast visix in a stun set..(around 260 spd). So other champs that can provoke/cc control tm along with one dps (Ronda to lock out cleansers is good. With Mithrala hex and petrifaction and iron brago on top of that you can just consistently lock out the team..stun, provoke..in pertification etc.
Oh, that’s an interesting option. Now I’m done with FW I definitely can switch some stun gear around

I can exactly tell you how to get to that level of silver as f2p: don't swap gear. Done. Same for me, I have around 300M and I do most of the AE to the max during either a fusion or CvC (or if I am in the mood for outside if these now and then too). Also he has thought well which champs to build. I bet usually players with an account of that age have 2-3 times more champions on 60 and many of them equipped with gear.

Yeah, am still missing two rares. My recap shows I pulled around 350 rares by now. Maybe if I ever get them, I’ll fuse Rhazin and progress the missions.
Even never made a second epic of that fusion.
You can only get 1 each of those void rares from tag arena.

Was wondering as well but I think they're all from fusions / fragment / dt. That means he managed to get the leggo + the decent epics of almost each fusion tho, without pulling any shards but green ones. That sounds pretty nuts
Most of them are from fusions were didn't go for lego: Rugnor & Alaric from Pyxniel, Kinagashi from Helli, Lodric - Astralon, Umetogi - Tatura, Fenshi- Brogni, Fayne -Vergumkaar(but at some point was a free promo code for her), Magnar & Conellia- Mother Cybele, Fylja - Karoto, Aeshma - Gnishask, rest are log in rewards or Dt tower champs.

In the beginning of promocodes they gave her away, but the “stock” emptied out quickly. So as compensation they gave everyone one. Some people were lucky and got two.

Awesome level of patience, but t.b.h. he has a geargrinder sitting around, meaning he acutally pulled voids, atleast once. Assuming that the rugnor goldgleam is a former fusion material (if i remember back in the days) AND Genbo is from Prime Gaming drops.

I understand playing without spending a dime, I'm doing it, but not using any of the shards is just too insane. He won't be able to complete any of the daily quest muchless the summoning tournaments, which is great when you save all your shards. I've been playing Raid for almost two months now and I have gotten 3 legendary, one practically free, and 8 epic champions, leveling up and sacrificing no rares so far. For silver, you mostly sell as much unwanted items on farming. Right now I seing no reason to spend any money.

Yeah, Ninja is worth the hype. did a 440,000 (360k yellow+ wm) damage A1 in "normal" clan boss if you can believe it. Best a1 i was able to do in fireknight was 225,000. And obviously his a1 isn't even his main deal. (before age of blessings)

My question is, how much money has he spent? Especially if you want to do any of the fusions and not pull any shards. You eventually run out of energy if you want to get all the rewards from the tournaments.

That is a ridiculously small number of shards for someone playing that long who has never pulled any.
I don’t know how he can do it. I know a lot of f2pers and they don’t even do that. He’s hindering his progress so much by not pulling shards. Also it’s time to move to a clan that’s downing unm, nm and brutal daily. He would see an immediate improvement if he did that.
