- We Just Built A Goat Shelter For Free using the materials we had on the farm in preparation for getting goats in a couple of weeks. We have maxed out our chick shawl completely with 36 chickens, so that we are getting the maximum benefit to our pastures. We also had a little fun on the trampoline today.

Thank you! It’s really a family channel but Ty does most of the filming and chatting for now. However, we his parents filter all communication on social media and read them the comments after we approve them.
@@rlhomestead Everything about that seems brilliant! I can tell you that the World really needs to see more content like this. It's grassroots. It's talented. It's competent. It's artistic. It's as if the World has lost track of what confident, competent and well-adjusted young people act like.
I'm a photographer myself, and Ty seems to have a very natural artistic eye. There's hardly a video where there isn't at least one amazing capture that has great potential as a still shot.

Your last video has comments turned off but I wanted to tell you what a trusted mower shop told me about the string for your string-trimmers. It may sound odd but I was told if your string is old and brittle you can revive it by soaking it in water prior to installing a new piece of string. Was also told not to waste my money on the expensive fancy shaped string the simple round string works just as well if not better.
Thank you! I have tried soaking but did not have much luck. I am going to try to go to a store that maybe rotates their stock more frequently to see if that helps.

great job on the goat shelter Ty. looks like if you turn the metal roofing the other direction and cut sheets in half it will cover your whole roof.. Hope it works out.
