MULTI-SPECIES Fishing the Atlantic City JETTIES [3 New Species]

So in this video I headed down to the Atlantic City jetty system looking for some early season stripers and even some bluefish. I primarily fished bait as the fish were not as concentrated as I hoped and I couldn’t get anything on plugs. But as you’ll see I was not super successful in catching my targeted species. However I did catch 4 species in total, adding three new species to my list in the process.

Spanish Mack’s come in around august- September, caught from shore occasionally. Kong’s stay offshore and are pretty rarely caught around the same period of time

One day you should trip down to Florida for some pier kings. We catch them from April to September. I may need to take a trip for some bass. There neat fish.

good stuff! im thinkin about doin a little fishing when i get there later this month, never caught a ocean fish, you catch any big ones land fishing?

Might be a little late for stripers but the summer offers a ton of other smaller fish varieties, like kingfish and croakers on bloodworms in the bays and surf. As well as flounder all summer long on bucktails and such, Snapper blues also invade the bays and ocean in late summer. And if you want a fight just put out a big bait and hold on tight while you wrestle a big old shark.
