Can I mute and umute with a button manually instead of lifting up the mic? Can it also be connected wired?

Yes, it can! There is a small red mute button on the mic arm, and as far as using a chord, you can plug it in to charge as it is in use but ultimately, this model functions as wireless. If you are curious about wired headsets, here are some that we have reviewed:

What button connects the call when you are away from your computer ?

To connect a call use the silver button on the side of the ear where the busy light is. Press it once to answer and twice to decline.
