Why are the people kneeling at the end? Are they somehow responsible for murdering that guy? I don't get it. It's impossible. We all know who killed him. And why he got away with that. We all know the sick system that made that happen. But are WE responsible? Is it OUR fault? Should WE be ashamed? I don't think so. I find it extremely unfair. So many bad people just USED the awful murder case for their agenda. And it turned out in some twisted, INSANE way, that the innocent people who has nothing to do with the murder or murderous system - to feel guilty, INSTEAD OF REAL PERPETRATORS. Just so unfair. The bastards responsible laugh at the end. They won, they got away with that and the guilt is skillfully redirected. The truly evil bastards can sleep well, because the good people are idiots. Sad.

Sir, the people are taking the Kaperniack’s kneel in support of brutality against blacks by those who are policemen. Perhaps you don’t remember that controversy Trump stormed out of the stadium angry and saying he was disrespecting the flag and our soldiers. However, soldiers said they weren’t being disrespected and it was not about the flag. It was about the many young bkack men killed by extreme force by the police ( a lot of neo-Nazis and white supremacists have joined the police force all over the country. Kaperniack’s stand was justified after the brutality of Floyd’s death.
THAT’S why they are kneeling and the young man is repeating Floyd’s last words. Btw, they didn’t get away with it. The police on Floyd’s neck was found guilty and sentenced to 22 years in prison. The rest of the police force who ignored the crowd and did nothing will have their trials soon as accessories to Floyd’s murder.

@@GS-fd4go Well, that's one case. There are many more. We must not forget about that. The entire system is flawed. Way too often the law enforcement stands above the law. The abuse of power should never be tolerated. I'm very glad the Floyd's murderers were sentenced accordingly, but it's a constant battle that is not over yet. In my country there were several cases like the Floyd's one just last year. The murderers in uniforms walked free.

Taking the knee like this is symbolic of recognizing that there is a systemic problem. Rather than standing up for the system in place, you kneel to show that you want to stand up, but that there is too much to object to.
"Where does taking the knee in sport come from?
American footballer Colin Kaepernick took the knee during the national anthem before a match in 2016. He said he could not stand to show pride in the flag of a country that oppressed black people.
Colin Kaepernick (centre) began taking a knee in 2016
The anti-racist statement has since become a prominent symbol in sport and during protests.
It has also been a feature of Black Lives Matter protests, including those following the murder of George Floyd.

Its easy for someone to sit there, from their mostly ⚪ (90%+) country and defend these people. When they've never had to really live with them. People in other countries dont really understand what its like to live with ⚫ americans.

I was distraught for the treatment of the man with his neck having a knee on it. "Other policemen were around and they could have cuffed and controlled him. Why would they do this? I cried. I know he had been a drug addict. He's calling for his mother! I know he was arrested for a fake 20 dollar bill. But he didn't deserve to die." Still crying.
Later I find out that he was arrested sitting in his car..
He saw them and swallowed a large amount of drugs. To hide them. The Police called the ambulance. They were worried too. It looked bad. That knee was not pushing hard. It is used to calm people. Put between shoulder and neck to stop them from flailing and hurting themselves. The Ambulance went the wrong way. He called his mother we all thought. But that is what he called his girlfriend. He was calling to her. He died from a heart attack. From the overdose. The police were keeping him still to save him. Less active meant less of the drugs getting in his system. Then too late. He had a heart attack from the drugs. I am so sorry for him. A criminal, made a mistake.

The officer plead guilty of murder charges and the autopsy report said homicide was the cause of death. Not sure where your information is coming from. “The Hennepin County medical examiner's office ruled Floyd's death was a homicide caused by "cardiopulmonary arrest" complicated by "restraint, and neck compression" while he was being subdued by police.”

The autopsy report determined homicide as the cause of death and the officer plead guilty. Plenty of sources to look up to verify.

No he did not due from a drug overdose. That has been the claim of racists who believe a white policeman shouldn’t be tried. Both forensic autopsies stated clearly that there was NO drugs that contributed to his death. His death happened from the police’s knee on his neck. On one side, where his neck is on the asphalt, the artery that would bring oxygen to his brain was compressed and the police’s knee was on the carotid artery’s on his right side. He died of asphyxiation. The top forensic doctor in the country pointed out the exact moment he died. He agreed to testify fir nothing because, being the top forensic doctor in the country, he saw the exact time of death and why it happened. The moment when he says “ see? That the exact time if death, when the light went out of his eyes.
