This track is made to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Timecop1983. Childhood Memories was my very first track i released and i wanted to revisit the track and reowork it to commemorate this amazing moment in my life.
I can't believe it's been 10 years since i released this track on Soundcloud on November 8th 2013.
I started this project as a absolute beginner in the music scene and to this day i'm so happy i gave Synthwave a try. I would have never thought i would be a professional musician 10 years later with multiple albums, EP's, movie/tv placements, a soundtrack for a videogame and that i would be touring around the world to perform.
This is my gift to you as a thank you for all the great support i got over the past 10 years. It's "pay what you want" on Bandcamp and if you pay for it or not, i owe you a BIG thank you!

The more time is pushing us further away from the 80‘s and 90‘s, the more golden this unique decades appear in retrospective…a time when life was much more simple and essential, when the world was colored in purple and the grass was greener - childhood memories…
When I'm old and some kid asks me what music was like back in my day this will be the first song that I will think about
If this guy doesn’t have a record deal idk what this world is coming to, I’d take this kind of music over any of the nonsense the radios play today.
I've always felt like the original version was destined to be in the opening scenes of a hit nostalgia film and this would be my choice to close it out. What a film that would be.
felt like the last decade+ of my life has been such a blur and wasted.... lofi and synth started getting traction and eventually exploding shortly after and so have the feelings of loneliness and of being lost. Though still fortunate/grateful for many things like driving my cars or riding my motorcycles to this synth into the sunset and coastal side then proceeding to watch the sunset alone with my thoughts or lack of.
