guys I dont think its really fair to judge him about his attitude. I get it that he might sound very rude when he constantly telling people to 'just read patch note', but we need to understand his circumstance as well. He is obiously focusing on his game at that moment, as he should. And when alot of people came to his stream to ask about the item, we could imagine how fustrating that can be. He also did clarified when he bought the item on 15:08, when he is dead and able to answer the question
the new format is very good but the big statikk noises in the left ear made me tweak ngl, i think the zoom on the icon was enough past the first fight with it
repeatedly telling people to 'just go read' the patch notes when they ask for an explanation is a dumbass tactic. Someone can read the patch notes and still value the tactical aspects of increased attack range from Rapid Firecannon over the bit of extra damage you'd get from Statikk Shiv resets. Just because you value it more, doesn't make the use case immediately obvious for someone who doesn't, and if you're doing something unusual, you need to be able to explain the logistics of it when asked.
15:08 imagine just saying this right away or answering more nicely instead of having all that attitude. Would've gone a long way to seem more likable. Edit: it gets even worse.
Because they are Most of them are under plat so you can guess how bad are their questions or they try to "help" streamer while knowing basically nothing when in the first place they go and watch highest ranking players to get help with climbing They dont read patch notes when people should (this alone would kill 75% of their stupid questions)
A lot of great info and interesting content... but it does make me curious why you were initially so intent on forcing your chat to go read the patch notes, as opposed to just explaining the two relevant sentences about the shiv changes. Just came across a little weird as a first time viewer
0:35 - I understand you want to sell us the value of Statikk Shiv, but let's not just say random things for the sake of saying stuff. How does the AD on the item scale your Dead Man's Plate and Bloodsong exactly? Not only do both of those items have BASE AD scaling (not bonus), but physical damage is less desirable in the majority of cases due to almost every champion having much higher armour on average compared to MR. I get the point of saying it is to prevent people from retaliating with comments like "but the AD is wasted", which, while not the greatest, still isn't a waste, but straight up misinformation for the sake of making your point isn't good either. 20:15 - Suppression (Warwick/Malzahar/Skarner/Tahm Kench/Sett/Urgot R) also prevents you from Smiting.
While I do enjoy the item but I also believe the data are a bit skewed. It's one of those "ahead" items that I don't often buy when behind and thus it would explain why the winrate is so high. When I'm behind I can't afford to be that squishy
Not necessarily tbh. Have you heard of the saying, win slow lose fast? It defines how you should win a game through small guaranteed wins, and when losing, try to take risks to snatch a comeback. In this case, going one offensive item on bard isn't really gonna change how tanky you are against a team that's ahead. Point is, I wouldn't be surprised if Statikk Shiv has a higher-than-average winrate even when you're losing. Slight rephrase cause I may have sounded too definitive and harsh: your point still stands and is definitely an important factor to consider, but I don't think both sides of the extremes are 100% correct (either that statikk ONLY does well on winning games, or Statikk wins EVERY game).
thank you for this video lathy. finally managed to start winning and having impact in my games again. felt like no matter what role or champ i play i was irrelevant, but this build for bard makes you a 1v9 machine. with mejai 2nd, i manage to top damage in most games lol
There is nothing on Dead Man's plate BONUS AD synergy, and since you don't build lethality or armor shred or pen, it has no bonus in particular for AD. Deadman's plate scales of Base AD, which can not be increased in this patch. Mythic items season might've had Trinity Force increasing BASE ad by a small amount. Having phys is nice, if enemies are incentivised to build magic resist of course.
The item did some damage but if we are honest you had 2 items at 19min which is not doable every game as a support so at this point I'm pretty sure you would have done a lot of damage with any build since you had an edge. Sure looks fun tho and with last item liandrys must be high aoe damage in teamfights. I would love to see the same format with all the little explanations and highlights but in a game where you are not ahead in gold at all to see how you can use it without inting (just like I would). Have a good day :)
i like all the notes and stuff but the statikk usage being emphasized almost every time (in only the left ear too lol) got annoying. i think after the first or second time you get to use its full potential was fine, and after that there isn't a need to point it out anymore
I get that chat backseat gaming is annoying but I had to stop watching the video because I found it too insufferable Maybe you would also have a better time if you took another approach with those annoying chat massages

the notes are AMAZING can't believe such a content is free tbh
you the goat, lathy
the new format is very good but the big statikk noises in the left ear made me tweak ngl, i think the zoom on the icon was enough past the first fight with it
My left ear did not appreciate the sound

Yeah exactly, i still dont get why we would go a damage item

Bro why so salty w ur stream viewers, making em sound insufferable for just asking a technical question, idk man bro is gonna be as mean as neace soon
Because they are

But he does but if he has to everytime i think it gets anoying

I love the notes (and the small meep noises when they pop up). Such a great content creator, thanks Lathy, you're a gem!
Really like the educational notes throughout the video. I think the statikk noises could be lowered a little bit but overall very enjoyable.
3:42 that's why i have my E indicator on shift+E. On thick walls there is no point of using it as reaction time is much more important than precision
Its lovely see how you improve your videos in the part of edition and learning as support, thanks laty

@@Pokarlson Necessarily unfortunately. xPetu just made a video on this. Its the same as Heartsteel on Shen
@@Pokarlson Interesting comment, thanks for the perspective
This format is absolutely amazing. Thank you for your effords!🎉
New format with notes is excellent
I love it when we get a bit silly with it.
thats my fav thing about bard, build anything and its fun
This is the exact jank I needed to enjoy bard again, thank you.

you do good content bro and you explain really well your thought process ! I subscribed :)

It's also the same for Bloodsong (base ad too).
i love how you did these mid game notes
I need this video, beacause when i watched your streams i didnt why you buy Statik, thanks god you upload the video finally :)
I´m loving the new format

Im going the item every game i have dmp average 12 min and statikk 19-20 min and yes its in high elo everygame, so u certainly can
i like all the notes and stuff but the statikk usage being emphasized almost every time (in only the left ear too lol) got annoying. i think after the first or second time you get to use its full potential was fine, and after that there isn't a need to point it out anymore

Could Witt’s end also be a good mr item for this build?
I think you get good value from the tenacity but I think since ur going statikk second youre missing too much HP
maybe as a 4th item against heavy ap?
or if you're just mega ahead
bro your viewers gave you a lot and brought you where you are, least you could do is help them understand items lol
Explained many times on stream, there's a command on stream and the video itself was made so people could understand.
lathyrus bard got hacked again
another banger
i still dont get this build, and im not having fun.
