interesting note to what you said about jennie's solo: during her first performance for solo, jisoo, lisa and rose got to the show really early (4am) to be with jennie whilst she got ready and did her practice runs. jisoo also made gifts for the staff members so "they would film jennie nicely". Jisoo is known for hiding her emotions and never crying in front of the camera, but after jennie's first solo performance you can see jisoo beginning to cry because of how proud she was of her. their bond as a group is truly so supportive, there's no jealousy, just uplifting each other 24/7. that's what i love about this group.

its competition against other groups with other companies after they debut , before debut is competition against other girls within yg
in korea for idol groups that either are just debuting or having a comeback they perform on weekly music shows to promote their new songs and at the end the most popular ones win awards. And that doesn’t include the big awards that are given at like music award shows at the end of the year

The way they connected right away years before they were actually Blackpink and then ended up as a group together, the four of them, and they trained SO hard for SO long and now they are a family and literally the biggest girl group in the world. I am so proud of them. Their bond is insanely strong and their talent is out of this world. They're so humble and so hardworking and so sweet and they deserve the world.
It’s so nice to hear you give them the props they deserve. Not only did they leave home at an early age but they strenuously trained for several years, debuted, and became international megastars all whilst dealing with haters, discrimination, and even neglect from their own company. After all of their accomplishments they have managed to stay humble and down to earth. It is their fierce stage presence and talent coupled with their soft and cute off stage personalities that has drawn true blinks to sincerely love them.

Speaking of Awards...They are the First Kpop Girl Group to win a VMA! Ive been a Blink since they debuted and despite the amount of songs they have ( doesnt matter to me anymore because theyre all hits ) I feel like a Proud parent lol...Anyways, i hope you guys are ready for their Album to come out ( on Oct 2nd! )

Thank you for loving them❤️ They’ve been through so much and not just with training.
Lisa faced so much Xenophobia because she’s Thai and has no Korean blood. They shamed her for her weight, her skin colour, her nationality, and everything else they could possibly throw at her. A few years back it got so bad fans had to start a respect Lisa hashtag which went viral. It was so viral even best friend Bambam (from GOT7) commented on it. She was getting death threats, yelled at in public, attacked in airports and she was afraid to leave the dorm.
Rosé gets called Flopsé and people have made fun of the way she sings since debut. People would make edits to make her voice sound bad and then post it saying it was MR removed. These videos got over a million views and Rosé got so much hate. They call her the visual hole too.
Jennie had an ankle injury back in 2018 and she kept hurting it. She couldn’t perform at her best for a while because of it and this led to a huge “Jennie is lazy” scandal. During that time she was seen having panic attacks and there’s even a video of her reading hate comments and trying hard not to cry during a live. People also have turned Jennie into the K-Pop villain. They say she bullies her members and is a bad person but really she’s the opposite. As Jisoo said “she seemed cold but then I realised she just wanted someone to take care of her.” Jennie is a harmless baby.
Jisoo has always been ignored. People act like she doesn’t exist and even walk right past her to go to a different member. People make fun of her for her voice and the fact she’s not as good at dancing as the others. They also make fun of her because she struggles with English

Thank you for reacting to one of the strongest girl groups who, despite all the antis and haters dragging them down (I'm not gonna mention the fasle scandals/issues/rumors they spread about the girls), are still standing strong with their head up ❤️ They're such an inspiration especially to our male-dominated society, making everyone empowered in their own way 😊
Hey Seestas! To clarify the part about their first win: After a group debuts to the public they go on a number of weekly TV shows where all of the K-Pop artists with new music compete. They are voted on and at the end of the show they announce a winner. If you watch it again you see their scores as well as the other artists that were competing.
Being an Idol is tough...
Since the beginning Blackpink is a very mysterious group.. YG have been teasing about them since 2012, with very little info about their trainee days. Usually, other groups are produced from survival shows so the public see what they went through but in Blackpink's case...we know almost nothing aside from little snippets of blurred training vids and the story the girls would tell sometimes. And its hard to be a Blink when you almost know nothing about what they really went through....
Blackpink and Blinks have a strong bond.... Others won't understand or see it but it transcend the long hiatus, constant waiting and disgusting and unreasonable amount of hate thrown at them..😭
BLACKPINK is not just a group but a Family... They really found instant sisters with each other, especially Jennie and Lisa who are both only child in their family.
Im single and young but I always feel like the proudest mother to this girls. I will love and protect them unconditionally...

yup if you watch any korea survival show ofcourse you will see a lot of talented singer rapper dancer and songwritter but not all of them can debut, in korea music industry in on another level and people keep sayin blackpink success bcause they under big company but they don't know how hard it is to debut under big company
